They are laughing and smiling? Which makes it even more obvious that she staged it. Of course this was a photo-op, she has to find another way to get her face in the headlines because people are calling her out on all of her other "LOOK AT ME" stunts.

Or maybe she staged it so that she can get some sympathy from EC. She can't make him love her, so she puts herself in harms way to get his attention(ie-Fatal Attraction when GL cut her wrists so that MD would spend the night with her). She did this before and the following morning EC was spotted leaving her house, so maybe this is two fold: debunk the source who said that EC isn't serious about her/living with her by tipping off the paps so that they can see him leaving and going into her home and to get whatever affection she can get from EC because she can't make him love her.

She still comes off despearate? What is she doing that is so important that she can't pay attention to the car in front her? Looking for EC because she knows what happens when he is left on his own.

They were there just as the other driver got right out of car and went over to her driver's door. then he gets into the passenger side front seat and they are congenial and understanding.
