On a very chilly Monday atop the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC, Leighton Meester and Penn Badgley had the daunting task of having to kiss each other for a scene in an upcoming episode of Gossip Girl -- but we couldn't take our eyes off that glamorous couture gown!

Meester's character, Blair, finally fulfilled her dream of becoming a real-life princess when she tied the knot with Prince Louis in the show's 100th episode. We're guessing she'll end up with Badgley's character in the end, since she ran off with him on her wedding day, but for now, we're loving her new royal wardrobe -- especially that tiara!

Don't hang up the crown just yet, B!

Blake Lively steps into Marilyn Monroe's heels for the upcoming 100th episode of Gossip Girl.

The starlet, as her character Serena van der Woodson, dons a platinum wig, gloves, a pink dress and loads of jewels for a modern-day, primetime interpretation of Marilyn's Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.

Accordingly, the men of the hit series take on the role of "Marilyn's" male chorus of admirers -- including Ed Westwick, Penn Badgley, and Chace Crawford.

Leighton Meester, aka Blair Waldorf, isn't left out of the dream sequence -- she makes an appearance as Audrey Hepburn.

Leighton Meester and her mom, Constance, have been in a legal dispute since July, over money, but now their fighting has ended, according to The Hollywood Report.

The Gossip Girl star had filed a suit against her mom for wrongly using $7,500 that Leighton claims she had sent to her younger brother to cover his medical expenses. Leighton argued that her mom used the funds on Botox and plastic surgery.

In return, Constance filed a countersuit against Leighton stating that oral contracts were breached.

At the time, Constance claimed she "sacrified her happiness" for her daughter's career.

After months of legal drama, THR says Constance has dropped the case against Leighton. As a result, she will have no further claim on her daughter's money.

Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester has just plunked down $1.5 million for a 2,847 square feet, 4 bed/4.5 bath in Encino, CA -- a far cry from Manhattan's Upper East Side.

Originally built in 1948, the single-story house boasts hardwood floors, a wood-burning fireplace, a galley-style eat-in kitchen with granite counter tops, a guest/staff suite, one bedroom with a private entrance, a walk-in closet (Blair Waldorf would approve!), a soaking tub and a separate glass-enclosed steam shower.

The backyard offers a wet bar, a fabulous pool, a built-in barbecue center and a cabana with a kitchenette, dishwasher and fridge.

Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester isn't letting family matters get her down!

The actress has purchased a $1,457,500 home in Encino, California -- some good news considering she's been dealing with mama drama all summer!

On Tuesday, Leighton, 25, filed a petition in LA's Superior Court to get a $3 million lawsuit from her mom, Constance Meester, thrown out. Constance is suing Leighton over a "management agreement," saying Leighton agreed to pay her $10,000 a month for the rest of her life. Leighton says the agreement never existed.

Luckily, Leighton now has this home to relax in. The four-bedroom, four-bathroom home is 2,847 square feet and features walk-in closets, a steam shower, a fireplace, a built-in barbecue, a pool, a guest suite and a breakfast bar.

Washington, D.C. and New York City just got a little taste of California life.

A 5.9 magnitude earthquake struck central Virginia at 1:53 p.m. ET, the strongest one felt on the Eastern seaboard in many years. The center was located in Mineral, VA, a small town about 92 miles southwest of D.C.

The quake was reportedly felt as far west as Ohio, south as North Carolina and north as Toronto, Canada. No major injuries or damage have been reported out of D.C., though the Pentagon, Capitol and many buildings downtown were evacuated, according to Reuters.

Celebrities, news outlets and residents have been Facebooking and Tweeting up a storm, alerting people to the news. Marlboro, New York-native Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi Tweeted, "Omg earthquakeeeee."

The 25-year-old brunette starlet took a carb-filled break while shooting scenes for her hit CW show in the streets of New York City. Guess even the upper east side loves pretzels!

Wonder if Leighton's GG character Blair Waldorf would ever indulge in this type of snack? We doubt it.

Monday night, Gossip Girl Leighton Meester sang at the Troubadour in West Hollywood and co-star Michelle Trachtenberg stopped by to enjoy the show ... and hopefully not gossip about it.

Leighton is working to cultivate herself as a double threat -- she sang in the flick Country Strong and has collaborated on tracks with other artists.
