Leonardo DiCaprio May Still Work With Mel Gibson On Upcoming Viking Project

The LA Times is reporting that Leonardo DiCaprio's next project will have him working opposite Mel Gibson on a film about Vikings, but E! Online says things haven't gotten quite that far. A source close to Leo tells E!, "There's not even a script yet. So it's not real, but it is technically still in the works. Nothing has been settled."
We would definitely love to see what sort of masterpiece these two could come up with!
Think a collaboration with Mel would be good or bad for Leo's career?

What's the plot going to be? Mel Gibson slapping around Leo while calling him racist names?
I love Leo but if Mel is attached to it I will never watch it. None of my money is going in that dirt bag's pockets. These people work in the entertainment industry, they aren't gods and its about time we stopped treating them like they are.

Dicaprio has the hottest movie out right now and is one of the one of the great actors of this generation, but he can only be dragged down by linking up with Herr Gibson. If there's anyone Mel should hook up with, it's Michael Lohan in a dirty bathroom stall at some seedy bar.
Mel and Leo are fantastic actors - I would definitely see their movie!
