The movie is close to $51 MILLION in the U.S. plus $5 MILLION overseas. When the film is fully released and promoted overseas, the final gross will be around $80 to $90 MILLION. Not bad for a movie with a $20M production budget.
To the Posters above defending the movie "THE LAST SONG" Here Here. You are so right. How the hell X-17 can you say the movie tanked. In 3 weeks that its been out it has Grossed over 50 mill. Considering it is only released in 1500 theaters nation wide compared to the other movies that ranked higher 1 thru 5 were released in over 3000 theaters. I think MILEY did GREAT! She was #4 the 1st week. #4 the 2nd week and this week #6. Still hanging in there. I saw the Movie and it was excellent and the song "When I Look at You" is so beautiful. That is where I'm really surprised as that only peaked at #16 on the Hot 100 Billboard charts and this week dropped to number 27. I LUV YOU MILEY! Keep up the GREAT WORK!
