This is starting to get really scary!

Lil Wayne was admitted to Cedars-Sinai hospital late Tuesday night after suffering a seizure, TMZ reports. The rapper was treated and released early this morning.

The 30-year-old revealed he suffers from epilepsy after being hospitalized back in March after suffering multiple seizures that left him in critical condition.

Reports claim the the "Lollipop" lyricist's health condition is the result of drug use and his hard partying lifestyle, but he insists it's more due to his hectic career.

"The reason being for the seizures is just plain stress, no rest and overworking myself. That's typical me, though," he told Power 106 recently.

Lil Wayne is on the mend after suffering several scary seizures earlier this month, and the rapper has now confirmed that he suffers from epilepsy.

"I'm an epileptic, so I'm prone to seizures," Wayne told Los Angeles radio station Power 106 yesterday. "This isn't my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh seizure. I've had a bunch of seizures. Y'all just never hear about it."

Wayne couldn't comment on reports that he was in a medically induced coma and breathing through tubes, nor did he comment on the claims that his consumption of codeine played any role in the episode. "The reason being for the seizures is just plain stress, no rest and overworking myself," he says. "That's typical me, though."

"It got real bad because I got three [seizures] in a row, and on the third one my heart rate went down to, like, 30 percent," he continued. "Basically, I could've died soon. That's why it was so serious."

The rapper was admitted to the hospital two weeks ago, and just a few hours after being discharged he was back in the intensive care unit following more seizures. On March 16 he was released, and it seems like he's on the road to recovery, as he's set to embark on a national tour to promote his 10th studio album, I Am Not a Human Being II in July.

The rapper was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday and discharged on Wednesday, but a few hours later he was back in the intensive care unit following more seizures. Wayne's stomach was reportedly pumped multiple times to remove the codeine from his system. While TMZ reported that the Grammy winner was placed in an induced coma, Mack Maine, the president of Wayne's label, Young Money, tweeted, "Dont believe the nonsense about comas and tubes to breathe ... that's false!!"

Young Money publicist Sarah Cunningham acknowledged Friday that Wayne had a seizure, and last night Maine tweeted, "@LilTunechi [Lil Wayne] has been officially been released and is headed home...God is great," he tweeted.

The rapper was sent to the hospital Tuesday, after seizing, and after being released the next day, just hours later, his bodyguards found him on the floor in his room, unconscious, according to TMZ.

He was rushed to the hospital again; his stomach was pumped multiple times, to remove the Sizzurp (and codeine) from his system. Unfortunately it didn't stabilize Wayne, so doctors induced a coma to calm his system, and he's breathing through tubes.

Family and friends have been visiting -- Drake stopped by and Wayne's mom should have just arrived in LA.

As of 6:30pm last night, Wayne was stabilized but still in critical condition. Updates coming ...

Paris Hilton chatted with Lil Wayne for Interview Magazine, where the famous pair talked about fame, family and a possible collaboration on Paris' next album.

"Well, if you would be on the album, then I would be honored," Paris said when the subject came up during the interview. "That would be the sickest thing. We should get each other’s phone numbers so we can call each other after the interview or text or something." "Cool," Wayne responded. "Sounds good."

So can we expect the follow up to Princess P's hit 2006 album anytime soon?

"I’ve been working on it for so long…" Paris said, but with her numerous business deals, not to mention her new reality show, we may have to wait a bit longer!

Rapper Lil Wayne aka Dwayne Carter has been released from Rikers Island jail in New York after serving only eight months of his one-year sentence.

Carter's time in jail stemmed from 2007, when he was arrested for criminal possession of a weapon following a performance at the Beacon Theater in Manhattan.

This charge could have resulted in 15 years behind bars, but in exchange for a guilty plea, his time behind bars was greatly reduced. Wayne says although the gun was found on his tour bus during that incident, it was registered to his manager and was in a bag near the rapper.
