Lily Allen recently gave birth to a baby girl named Marnie Rose at a London hospital, her rep confirms. This is the second child for the British singer and her husband Sam Cooper. Their other daughter Ethel Mary was born in November 2011.

The new mom is basking in baby joy, and she shared the good news with her Twitter fans today, writing, "Quite overwhelmed by all the well wishing going on. THANKYOU everybody xxx."

The "Smile" crooner hinted she was close to giving birth earlier this month, tweeting, "Thought I was in labor but I just need to fart." TMI Miss Allen!

It's been a long road to parenthood for the married pair. Allen was four months pregnant with her first child when she miscarried in 2008, and was six months pregnant with her second child when she miscarried again in 2011.

We couldn't be happier she has been blessed with two healthy baby girls after such hardship!

Lily Allen attended the British Fashion Awards at The Savoy Hotel in London last night, and the 27-year-old singer showed of her bulging baby bump on the red carpet.

Lily is reportedly due to give birth next week to her second child with husband Sam Cooper, so we can't believe she left the house and got all glammed up!

Lily tweeted, "Anyone asking where my dress was from at the @BFA tonight, it was @ALCLTD, bag and shoes @LouisVuitton_UK . Congrats Kim Jones you don you x."

Someone may have slammed her for weight gain, as she later wrote, "I know I have fat arms, but dumbbells are for glum belles." We think she looks great, but there's nothing wrong with hitting the gym every now and then, so she shouldn't be so harsh on the ladies who do!

Lily Allen and husband Sam Cooper are expecting their second child together, according to several online reports.

The couple, who wed in Gloucestershire, England, last June are "over the moon," a source told The Sunday Mirror. Their first child, daughter Ethel Mary is now almost 8 months old, and Allen "has started telling her friends, and everybody in her close circle is so excited for her."

Allen hasn't confirmed the news herself, but another source at The Daily Mirror reports that the singer had her three-month scan last week. The insider added, "It was a surprise but Lily and Sam are thrilled. The pair of them have loved every minute of ­parenthood so far and wanted to expand their brood quickly. So it's great timing."

Lily Allen has kept the name of her newborn daughter under wraps for five weeks, but her mom, Allison, has let the cat out of the bag. Lily's mom reportedly posted the name of her granddaughter on Facebook. Yikes!

The 26-year-old "Smile" singer has named her first child Ethel Mary, according to British reports.

"Thank you for all the flowers and lovely messages everybody," she wrote. "Very touching indeed."

Prior to delivering Ethel, Allen suffered a miscarriage in 2008 and delivered a stillborn baby in 2010.

Proud mommy-to-be Lily Allen shared a Twitpic of her growing baby bump (she's due next month!) alongside a freshly carved pumpkin at her home in England, on Sunday.

The "Smile" singer posted the shot on her Twitter page, with the caption: 'Me, bump and pumpkin, i did it last night during x-factor."

After experiencing several miscarriages in the past few years, Allen is over the moon with the anticipation of her first child with hubby Sam Cooper, whom she married in June.

And Allen is so eager to start a family, she plans to quit the music business and focus on being a mommy full-time.

The singer confessed to People: "I just want to have babies and live in the countryside, that's my goal. I'm not a careerist, what I really want is to be a mum. I am driven, but that drive goes as far as keeping a roof over my head and having a routine."

Allen suffered a miscarriage last November when she was six months pregnant and three years ago, she lost a child during her relationship with musician Ed Simons.

Cooper, 32, proposed to Allen, 26, on Christmas day last year in Bali. Allen has said of her mate, "We've never had one argument and there's absolutely nothing about him that annoys me." And of having children, that it's "ultimately my main goal" in life.
