British singer Lily Allen, 25, has suffered her second miscarriage in two years, her publicist confirmed today:

"It is with great sadness that we have to confirm that Lily Allen and Sam Cooper have lost their baby. The couple ask that their privacy be respected and that they be left alone at this deeply distressing time. No further comment will be made."

In 2008, the singer lost her baby with Chemical Brothers rocker Ed Simons.

Does this mean she's out of retirement? The petite singer was a surprise guest at Professor Green's show at KoKo in Camden last night, performing their hit single "Just Be Good To Green."

Lily Allen, who's five months pregnant with her first child, gushed that she "couldn't wait for Green to be an uncle" to her kid. How sweet! The 25-year-old singer seems so much happier now that she's with child, doesn't she?

The "Smile" singer can't stop covering up her baby bump! First with a suit, now with shopping bags. Lily Allen shopped up a storm in Paris earlier today, stopping by A.P.C. and Chanel all the while chatting on her cell. Good to know she's still strong enough to carry around all those new clothes! And in a pair of towering heels, no less.

Meanwhile, Lily just Tweeted a random rant about an email she received from Lil' Kim: "Jesus, sarcasm really doesn't translate over twitter/atlantic does it ? Big kim is a legend, I was surprised to have received an email. TIA." Er, must be those pregnancy hormones!

If it wasn't already announced, we might not have guessed! Singer Lily Allen couldn't conceal her facial joy backstage at a Paris fashion show yesterday, most likely due to the fact that this is the first time Lily's attended an official event sporting a noticeably large baby bump!

Either that or she just loves her sexy man's suit. So hot right now. Wonder what trendy name she'll have for her little tyke!

Pop star Lily Allen took a break from the music business recently and part of the reason was because she's preggers! Now a source reveals to The Sun that Allen is having a baby boy with boyfriend Sam Cooper.

"Lily said she found out from a scan she is having a boy. She is really excited and can't wait to give birth. She is always asking other mums about their pregnancies," says the insider.

I think getting pregnant is the best thing to ever happen to Lily Allen! Heck, she's even taking yoga now. Having a baby always has the power to turn a celeb's life around - just look at Nicole Richie!

Lily Allen and her boyfriend Sam Cooper are expecting their first child together.

Her rep released the following statement, "Lily Allen and Sam Cooper are very happy to confirm that Lily is expecting their first child. Lily's professional commitments will carry on as normal, including a scheduled performance at the Big Chill this weekend."

The couple have been together for over a year, and the pop star recently told the Sun that he is the love of her life. "Sam treats me differently. He's told me he'll look after me forever. That's what I've always wanted - someone to look after me," she says.

Back in December of 2007, Lily revealed that she was pregnant with then-beau Ed Simons' child, but she suffered a miscarriage a month later.

Lily Allen took to Courtney Love's favorite outlet (well, one of 'em) to call the troubled rocker a "drug addled lunatic" after Love accused the Chanel spokesperson of blocking her from wearing the brand at the Brit awards.

"Just clearing a couple of things up," Lily tweeted. "Courtney Love and I did NOT have a bust up at the NME'S. There was an exchange of words, yes." She explained, "She's upset because she has got it into her head that I put a lock on some dresses for the Brit awards." As the face of Chanel, Lily's entitled to preferential treatment, but she denies ever trying to block someone else from wearing the label! Lily continues, "when I saw her at the NME'S she tried to talk to me and I told her to shut up stop spreading stupid rumours about me."

Lily went on, "I would never fight with her, as a rule I don't pick on crazy old ladies." But the diss doesn't stop there! "It's the sort of thing a paranoid drug addled lunatic might come up with," Lily said, ending her Twitter tirade!

Well, I hate to say this, but only a crazy lady would engage in a Twitter fight with Courtney Love!

Lily Allen has revealed that she will be taking a break from the limelight and focusing on more important things this year, like her relationship with her boyfriend of seven months, building contractor Sam Cooper.

In the latest issue of Grazia magazine Lily said, "It’s not about being famous, it’s not about all the parties, it’s not about wanting to be the biggest pop star on the planet. It’s about being happy ... For me, that is Sam, spending time at home, sorting out bed linen… being normal."

Lily also confessed that she is a bit of a technology addict, and she's trying to distance herself from that too. "I just had this revelation that Facebook, blogging, all those things were becoming a total addiction," she says. "I’d be with my boyfriend or my mum and they’d have just got half of me. So I put my BlackBerry, my laptop, my iPod in a box and that’s the end. I won’t use email, I play records on vinyl, I don’t blog. I’ve got more time, more privacy. We’ve ended up in this world of unreal communication and I don’t want that. I want real life back."

But she's not going to miss the crazy parties and her pals like Kate Moss and Lindsay Lohan? I find that a little hard to believe...after all, this girl is like the tamer version of Amy Winehouse!
