We've just learned the sad news that Lindsay's 73 year-old paternal grandfather died just hours ago after struggling with colon cancer.

Michael Lohan said, of his father's death:

My father just, literally, died in my arms. I notified all my kids and my lawyer notified Dina's attorney. Let's see if she has the decency and respect to bring my kids to the wake and funeral. THIS will show her true colors!

'Cause, Linds, here's what your dad just told us, in response to yours and Samantha's blog posts ...

Ok, here we go.

The response by Samantha and Lindsay regarding what I said is absolutely ridiculous!

When I first spoke to X17 ( whom I trust), I clearly stated that everything I said and my concerns were generated by my ex wife, Dina. (I have taped recordings, texts and the corroboration from lawyers and authorities to prove it. )

After a recent phone call from Lindsay while she was traveling on one of Samantha's DJ gigs, I became very concerned. It was then that Dina, Lindsay and I agreed to meet when Lindsay got to NY and have a mother, daughter and father sit down. Everything was arranged and agreed ( again I have dozens of texts and recordings with Dina to prove it.) BUT, when the time came on Sunday, Dina chose to go into NY and have dinner with Sam,her mother and Lindsay, rather than address real issues and make things better for Lindsay.

A day later, Dina told me that Sam was writing a book, that Sam was a negative influence on Lindsay and that Sam needs to be out of Lindsay's life....then she asked me how to do it!! ( all on tape). Matters became worse when Dina said Lindsay was in REAL danger and "she" needed to save her and get Lindsay into "a place"! ALL Dina's words. Tell me, what father wouldn't be concerned and even pissed at Sam after hearing this!!???

To even imagine that Dina would then go on vacation is even more sickening! Should we actually believe a women who says she doesn't party with Lindsay, get drunk or care about fame. She has been on video and photographed dopezens [sic] of times with Lindsay, Drunk in public, thrown out of events, had public fights with Lindsay ( at Phillippe Chow) and then does a reality tv show which was so far from the truth , it's disgusting!

Dina cares, PLEASE!!!! Lindsay was once stalked by a guy named AJ ( who Dina trusted and I said from the get go that I didn't) only for Dina to look the other way when I had to get a task force to track AJ down. ( LA's DA's office will confirm).

Dina took a percentage of Lindsay's money when I NEVER took a red cent! Dina made a deal with ET to interview Lindsay on the Red Carpet! All while , I only speak out when something is wrong or needs to be made right!

Dina is a money loving, fame seeking, self serving deceiver , who comes from roots of the same. Her brother, Paul Sullivan, was sentenced today for defrauding the 911 disaster fund of $1 million and telling witnesses to lie. Dina even publicly said he was innocent ...and so did he! Her other brother, Matt Sullivan, was arrested twice this year on DWI and drug related charges, and has lived in his mothers' basement doing "deals" for years! The same guy I had a fight with for being high at my sons communion party! ALL FACTS! ALL PROVEN!

Meanwhile they say I seek fame! Ha! I am out there doing charity work, going on mission trips, working with the United Nations and trying to help my daughter while spending sleepless nights with a father dying of cancer. Did Dina call my dad, or have the kids visit or send a card to a man who never hurt a fly? NO! Dina raised all this alarm and caused this whole thing!

While guilt may bring a response by some, others, like Dina, pass the buck and don't accept any responsibility at all. But the tapes and texts will PROVE what the truth really is and everyone is going to hear. The rest you can simply pull up on the internet by typing in Dina, Paul or Matthew Sullivan with the words drunk or fraud!!!

All I want is for Lindsay to be healthy and in a good relationship! I want her to use the gifts she has in the best ways and to help others! I said it from the very beginning: show me who you walk with and I will tell you who you are! People may deceive us, but our eyes and facts don't! OPEN YOUR EYES!!!

My apologies to Lindsay, but this is the only way to get her attention!

So there you have it, folks! What's next?!

It feels like we've been doing hourly updates on World War III (a.k.a. the war of the Lohans), and here's the latest. Michael Lohan has now spoken to ABC News, and he claims to have texts and phone conversations that prove he's the good guy, and he continues to stand by his belief that Samantha Ronson is bad for his daughter Lindsay. However, even if you've been following this story as closely as we have, you might need a little refresher.

First, Lindsay's father Michael spoke exclusively to X17online after reports that Sam was penning a tell-all book. He said Sam was "using Lindsay to further her career," called her a control freak and even suggested that Lindsay had fallen off the wagon with drugs and alcohol.

A few hours later, a very upset Lindsay told Access Hollywood, "He's out of control...I want him to stop hurting and talking to the media about the people I love." Additionally, Lindsay and Sam fired back at Michael on their myspace blogs this morning, calling him a coward and a public embarrassment among other things.

And now, here's what Michael had to say to ABC:

"Who's out of control? Whose life is out of control? Give me a break. Going from place to place, being dragged around by Samantha so she can make more money off of Lindsay being there when she spins...She's gone from making $7 million to less than a million a movie. Who's out of control? I go to church. I go and help people in rehab. That's control. How can she say I'm out of control?"

Michael claims that Lindsay's mom Dina initially thought Samantha was a bad influence on Lindsay, but now she's hiding her feelings because she wants to continue to share the spotlight with her 22-year-old daughter.

Michael continues:

"I want Lindsay to be in a good place. When I started looking at what Samantha was doing, dragging Lindsay to clubs, drinking around Lindsay...Samantha is one of the biggest problems in her life. That's what Dina told me. I'm reacting on what Dina said, but then Dina steps out of the picture because she wants to look like the good guy. Dina's a two-face. She wants to try to look good and stay on Lindsay's good side instead of being a good parent. I don't give two hoots about my relationship with Lindsay as a friend. One day she's going to turn around to me and tell me, 'Daddy, you were right.'"

However, it looks like Linds wants nothing to do with her dad, as she's made very clear on her myspace blog. In her post titled, "Dear Mr. Lohan" the starlet writes, "His recent attack on my life and my loved ones is simply for an ADDICTION THAT HE HAS - FAME. Why he feels the need to comment on anything in my life that i may want to keep private, is beyond comprehension - If he really cared about me and my life, then he would learn to respect my wishes by staying out of it."

Michael now claims to be on the verge of releasing text messages and recorded phone conversations with Lindsay and Dina that prove he's telling the truth. "If they're going to say I'm lying, I'm out of control, I'm going to show that they're lying and they're out of control," he said.

Lindsay Lohan's spat with her father Michael may have boiled over into outright hostility yesterday - but that's certainly not when it started! Pretty curt, huh? Guess Michael's pronouncements about Sam being bad for Lindsay have been getting under his daughter's skin for quite a while!

If you have something to say to me, say it to my face- that's what i have believed my whole life- don't be a coward and say it to others first, let alone all the media in the world- i think we know where the rest of this blog is going...

If you guessed it had to do with my father- then you guessed right! It really hurts, because i have tried- after all that my mother and siblings have gone through, i really tried to make things work- For the hope of having a father again-wanting things to change- even though people have said, some people will forever remain the same.

Having said that- the people were right, and he is yet to change- but this time, without his daughter by his side- He has become a public embaressment and a bully- To my family, my co-workers, my friends, and a girl that means the world to me (its obvious who that is).

He has no idea what is going on in my life because i have chosen not to involve him in it- His recent attack on my life and my loved ones is simply for an ADDICTION THAT HE HAS- FAME. Why he feels the need to comment on anything in my life that i may want to keep private, is beyond comprehension- If he really cared about me and my life, then he would learn to respect my wishes by staying out of it.

Samantha has not and would never sell me out. Nor has my mother, who is wonderful.

This further proves that any information that my father has about me or the people in my life is internet based- and about as accurate as a page six item.

I'm not going to engage any further, though i probably could go on...

I have said enough, i have a therapist, and it is not the the camera man at x17.

SHUT THE F*** UP

i really don't want to say anything because i feel like he wins- he, being the man who is so desperate for attention that he goes to the media whenever possible- i know i am being used, i am just a pawn- easy to sacrifice in order to feed his addiction. I was angry when i first read his attack on me, but- for me- i believe that actions speak louder than words... so now i just pity him- i am not standing in his way- i am not the reason that he has no contact with his daughter- he is- his need to throw a tantrum for the whole world to hear is- i am not going to go into a play by play defense- i feel no need to publicly defend my role in lindsay's life- i'm just sorry that she likes me more than him.

p.s. i'm not the one that is so lost that i need to use my relationship with lindsay to earn a living.... i am, always will and always have been here for her for her- not for anything else....so I think it's safe to say that there is not now and never will be a tell all..... written by me..... when does your book come out mr. lohan?

There are reports of Samantha writing a tell-all about her relationship with Lindsay (because who really cares about anything else in her life) and news of Lilo's dad Michael saying what a bad influence Sam is on his daughter.

So X17 went to the source -- Michael Lohan himself -- to set the record straight and basically, it's all true!!! ...

X17: Is it true that Sam is writing a book that will include details about her relationship with Lindsay?

ML: Dina said to me the other day, and you can hear it on my voicemail, 'Did you hear that Sam's writing a book?' So it seems it may be true. Samantha's a control freak and she's using Lindsay to further her career. Lindsay's been sold out by so many people in the past, Sam would just be another name on the list.

X17: Why is Samantha bad for Lindsay?

ML: She's feeding Lindsay alcohol behind the scenes, but that's really Lindsay's fault for taking it -- it's not about drugs or alcohol. A person can be a drug and Sam is a drug. She's very controlling and manipulative and it's not a healthy relationship for Lindsay.

I told Lindsay after she left Cirque Lodge that she needed to surround herself with good people when she got out and Sam and her friend Patrick are definitely not those good people. The only people responsible for keeping Lindsay on track are her sober companion, her assistant, and Blair Berk -- and, I hope, myself ... definitely not Dina.

X17: Where does Dina stand on all of this?

ML: I blame a lot of Lindsay's problems on Dina -- she's two-faced and plays both sides of the coin. She tells me it's important to get Sam out of Lindsay's life and then she turns around and has dinner with them!

Everyone around Lindsay who really cares about her is saying 'Get Sam out of Lindsay's life," and so does Dina, until there's a photo op.

We were supposed to have a family meeting the night she went out to dinner with Sam and her mom and Lindsay and Dina just skipped out -- just after telling me all about how Sam has a negative affect on Lindsay's life.

So I'm calling my lawyers, going back to court, and I'm going to hit her where it hurst - the wallet. I gave Dina everything in the divorce, just so I would get to see my kids and now she does this to her own child.

X17: What do you say about accusations from the media that you're attacking Sam simply don't like what has been portrayed as Lindsay's gay relationship with her?

ML: That's not the reason at all. Lindsay is fragile and Sam takes advantage of her and the relationship is too intense and too dramatic. Sam and Dina are probably the two worst people Lindsay could be around right now ... along with her friend Patrick.

I mean, look at Sam ... does she have an identity crisis or what? I mean, the way she carries herself, the way she dresses; she's a slob.

As long as Sam's in Lindsay's life, Lindsay will never be able to reach the potential God gave her.

X17: The media have commented that Lindsay looks better; she looks healthy; she doesn't appear to be drinking or doing drugs; she showed up to work on time for "Labor Pains." By all accounts, she seems to be doing well. What are her problems or issues right now?

ML: It's not about Sam giving Lindsay drugs or alcohol or anything -- there are prescription drugs from doctors -- psychotropic drugs, antidepressants -- that have a serious effect on a person. And I would like to put that out there. These things can mess with a person's mind.

I see some parallels between Britney and Lindsay -- the instability, the domineering companion. Lindsay's not in the state that Britney was or is, but there are minor similarities. Just because a person's not abusing drugs or alcohol doesn't mean they're healthy. And Lindsay being with Sam is making matters worse.

I would sacrifice my own life to get Sam out of Lindsay's.

And the Sun is determined to get her one!

After seeing Lindsay Lohan step out without a bra for the second day in a row yesterday, the British tabloid is hell-bent on stopping the flopping - according to one of our Brit sources, the paper's planning to launch a campaign to buy the actress a bra!

Of course, the campaign's being run strictly in jest - a starlet like Lindsay can obviously afford their own lingerie. Still, we're sure she'll appreciate the support!

Lindsay Lohan might have been in high spirits yesterday afternoon - but she got even happier by the time the night wrapped up!

We caught Lindsay hanging around outside the W Hotel after dancing up a storm during her gal pal Samantha Ronson's DJ set. If the giant smile Lindsay's sporting is any indication, Linds had herself a fine old time fooling around with Sam inside - one of our spies heard she was "all over Samantha" all night!

Of course, our spy also heard Lindsay was drinking inside - and we did catch Lindsay holding a whole bunch of water. Hopefully Lindsay was just rehydrating after a dance marathon - we'd hate for her to fall off the wagon!

We caught up with Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson on their way in to lunch at the Palm yesterday and couldn't resist asking Lindsay about all the Sapphic allegations Courtenay Semel's been making lately. Lindsay was quick to fire back a definitive "That's not true", throwing in a barbed "Who's that?" for good measure. Damn, Lindsay - guess that answers that question!

Luckily, all the rumor control didn't dampen Lindsay's mood; she and Sam actually looked spectacularly happy all day yesterday. Of course, the paps were providing plenty of entertainment - one crazy pap started telling Lindsay all the details of a sex dream she'd had recently, and another brazenly asked if Lindsay had gotten a tattoo on one of her boobs!

Oh, and take special notice of the shirt Lindsay was jokingly brandishing as she and Sam came out of Filth Mart yesterday:

Wait a minute - Sam's dad was in Foreigner! Isn't that a cute little getsure? (Well, either that, or Lindsay's an even bigger fan of classic rock than we could have guessed!)

Lindsay Lohan, Samantha Ronson, Nick Lachey, Vanessa Minnillo, Adrian Grenier and even Joe Francis all hit up Crown Bar last night...

...but an X17 source inside the club tells us the joint wasn't too happening!

Our source says lovebirds Lilo and Sam were a cute couple: "Lindsay was at Samantha’s side all night long, from open to close. It was really sweet. They just chatted and hung out as Sam spun records."

And as for Nick and Vanessa? Our spy says “they were with a huge group of friends enjoying cocktails, but in moderation. No one even danced!"

Looks like someone still wanted to keep themselves, er, under wraps while leaving though:

So, we have this pic above of Nicky Hilton, Jeff Beacher and Lindsay Lohan's alleged first lesbian love, Courtenay Semel, hanging out at the Palazzo in Vegas on Tuesday night...

And now the NY Post reports that the SAME night, Courtenay dined with Kourtney Kardashian (we have vid of Kourt that night below), hung out with Beacher at Pure at Ceasars... and then "went nuts," claims a spy. "Courtenay got so drunk she was falling down." After an altercation with a security guard, Court was "arrested and spent the night in jail," a pal confirms.

To top it off, the wild child lost her phone. Talk about a crazy night!

Lindsay Lohan ducked into Yves St. Laurent to pick up a few essentials yesterday - but her shopping list clearly didn't include a bra!

We caught Lindsay and her good buddy Samantha Ronson, er, swinging by YSL's boutique on Rodeo Drive yesterday afternoon. Lindsay certainly wasn't too shy about showing off her braless chest, either - seriously, you can practically see those things jiggling around in the stills!

Hey, we're not complaining...

... and we doubt Sam is, either!

These two are just the perfect picture of happiness, huh? Maybe they do really have it all figured out?

LiLo and S.Ro went shopping in Malibu yesterday afternoon; at one store, Linds even picked up a shirt with a very valuable message on it:

This time we caught the happy couple out walking Samantha's dog (a bulldog, natch), on Larchmont.

Whaddya think, first Ellen and Portia, are Lindsay and Samantha gonna tie the knot next?

Lindsay and Samantha are always out to lunch! The duo grabbed some grub at Fred 62 Cafe in Los Feliz on Sunday, and seemed unfazed by the photogs camped out across the street. It's great to see Lindsay smiling, but it's even more exciting to see that she's going back to her natural hair color! Lindsay is sexy as a blonde, but she's five alarm hot as a redhead.

Just look at these two. Getting a little smug, don't ya think?

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson spent another day (and night) in Hollywood, first grabbing some lunch before heading off to the movies. They really got it all figured out, right? Or at least, that's how they make it look!

Can it be that these two are really so happy together?

And by "love", of course we mean money!

The girlfriends spent some of Lindsay's hard-earned Ugly Betty money at Fred Segal, Jenni Kayne and Dior, all on Friday afternoon!
