Lohan has always had a tendency, as many freckled women do, towards too much makeup at times. On the other hand she is not as bad as say Evan Rachel Wood (who is heavily freckled but uses a ton of makeup to conceal it). There has also been a tendency towards fake tans. Neither does much for her and they tend to give her a phony and older appearance. She looks much better here (I still think the red hair creates a stronger impact than the dirty blonde she has gone with) and in some of the night photos looks younger than 21. I don't see Ronson as causing her downfall but I do see her love of Ronson (and hiding it in the past) to be problematic. It is not unusual for bi/gay men and bi/lesbian women who lead double lives to descend into alcohol and drugs to cope.
