I’m saddened for Emanuel Ungaro. He was born into a humble family and became at designer at 22. He built a fabled fashion house spanning five decades prior to retiring and selling the house bearing his name. Ungaro’s CEO Mounir Moufarrige owes Emanuel Ungaro an apology for tarnishing his name. Estrella Arch is a promising young designer. Her signature line received rave reviews. She will survive this fiasco.

All she wants is attention and for people to talk about her like she is a real celebrity, she will waste all of her money trying to impress the people back home that never liked her so she can say "look where I am and your not". She is one of those people that like to rub in people’s faces her fame. That is why so many people dislike her. She doesn't do anything with her status to help others; all she cares about is herself. I feel this was about most actors and actresses, they make all this money and they can help out a lot of charities and the needy, but they are all so selfish and care more about how big their home is, what kind of vehicle they driving and never once think about what they can do to help others. The only person I think that cares to help the world out is Ellen. I think that actors are over paid. Nobody needs the kind of money they have, what makes them think that they are all that special they are worth 12,000,000.00 a film. Come on! When asked about the disastrous reviews, he said, “They knifed us.” The report states, “Moufarrige won’t reveal her pay package, saying only that it is “quite enough. It’s expensive”. Given her unpredictability, it is also a risk. Her fragility, says Moufarrige, “has been factored in”. It needs to be. “

Moufarrige probably made certain the contract contained a clause to pay the contract and terminate her association with the fashion house as a noisemaker. I doubt Lindsay will be able to return to acting because she is unreliable and burned too many bridges. She was a talented child actor and did not mature into an equally talented adult actor. Directors and producers are more likely to cast a talented, reliable actress than cast Lindsay and risk cost overruns and production shutdowns.

Fashion houses and film studios are businesses not charities.

Not everyone hated the spring 2010 Emanuel Ungaro collection. Bloomingdale's vice-president and fashion director Stephanie Solomon told WWD, “I know it sounds a bit controversial, but we loved Ungaro and its sexy, draped minidresses in vibrant, happy colors. Estrella Archs is a talent to watch." We feel bad for Estrella, who is, let's not forget, doing the actual designing at Ungaro. Her résumé alone, which boasts work experience at Hussein Chalayan, Emilio Pucci, Prada, and Nina Ricci, certainly suggests she has talent. Sadly, her capabilities have been overshadowed by Ungaro artistic adviser Lindsay Lohan and the glitter heart-shaped nipple pasties and glitter heart-shaped forehead stickers that walked down the runway in the house's spring 2010 show, prompting critics to label it a disaster. Ungaro built a great fashion house and since 2005 it has been slowly destroyed. Now Lohan is destroying it further. I agree with Monsieur Ungaro. People get your head out of your asses, loving shopping does not make anyone qualified to be a fashion advisor. People go to fashion college and work very, very hard to be fashion advisors. This isn't acting, where you need to know nothing and Hollywood will hire you.

Neither the UK Times nor New York Magazine said she wasn't returning. However, I hope the Emanuel Ungaro contract contains a clause for her termination. What Mr Ungaro failed to mention is his label was on a downward spiral. They have had several designers before Estrella and none of them were capable to put the label on the map. Lindsay was hired as an "artistic advisor" she and Estrella had 3 weeks to prepare the collection which was just stupid! Designers usually take up to 3 months to prepare.

Emanuel Ungaro was horrified about the collaboration of HouseUngaro with 'starlets', instead of Stars.
Ungaro worked with, for and inspired by many Moviestars in his career in Haute Couture.
But there is a difference between the glamourous and talented Stars, and paparazzi's starlets like Lindsay Lohan ... and there is were one losts his soul... :)
