From One Rehabber To Another: Pat O'Brien Writes Open Letter To Lindsay Lohan

Former Insider host Pat O'Brien, who left the show in a disgrace after taped telephone conversations where he was caught having a graphic conversation about sex and drugs with his alleged mistress were exposed, has decided to dispense his advice to troubled starlet Lindsay Lohan -- in an open letter.
In the letter posted on THR, Pat implores Lindsay to "Do us all a favor and take a snapshot of your life on this Friday, Sept. 3, 2010."
"I've been through it, Lindsay," says O'Brien, who also went to rehab. "For me, there has been no jail, no courtroom antics, no ankle bracelet and, thankfully, I don't have the paparazzi snapping my every move. But I, too, have the same demons you have, and it's no fun."
"But there is good news and bad news about these demons," the wizened O'Brien says. "The bad news is that they never go away: We're wired differently. The good news is that with a certain amount of willingness, structure and personal inventory, those demons can be arrested. And the ones who survive, like myself so far, are the ones who accept that these are the cards that were handed us and we don't have to always gamble our lives away."
He then goes on to slam his former employers ("Yeah, The Insider really wanted to do a story on your closet!") and ask Lilo for a coffee date sometime soon ("I suggest the nearest Starbucks.")
I'm sure Lindsay is dialing your number right now to take you up on that offer!

Photog Claims Lindsay Lohan Bumped a Baby Stroller With Her Maserati, Drove Off
The 24-year-old starlet, fresh out of rehab, may have struck a baby stroller with her Maserati in West Hollywood yesterday, according to reports. "There was a woman pushing a kid in the stroller, maybe a two or three-year-old, crossing the street," witness Brayan Jaime, a freelance papparazo, told Radar Online. "Lindsay took the red light and hit the stroller. It wasn't super hard, but she made impact and hit them."
"Lindsay pulled to the right, stopped for two seconds, and then just kept going," Jamie added. Radar Online posted video that they claim was shot moments after Jamie alleges Lohan made contact with the stroller. In it, a woman with a stroller crosses an intersection and turns her head to see what appears to be a Maserati speeding away. Asked "You OK?" by a man presumably shooting the video, the woman smiles and continues pushing the stroller.
The West Hollywood Sherriff's department told ABC News that no calls were received regarding the alleged incident and no police report was filed. Lohan's lawyer did not immediately respond to ABC News' requests for comment. If Lohan gets in trouble, the consequences could be dire. At a post-rehab court hearing earlier this month, Beverly Hills Judge Elden Fox declared that Lohan must submit to random drug and alcohol testing twice a week, participate in psychotherapy sessions at least four times a week, attend behavior therapy sessions twice a week, and live at her Hollywood Hills home until further notice. If she messes up, she could be ordered back to jail for up to 30 days.
Prior to her three-week stint at UCLA's Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Lohan spent 13 days in jail at Los Angeles' Lynwood Correctional Facility. She was sentenced to 90 days in jail and 90 days of in-patient rehab in July for violating her 2007 probation, which stemmed from two DUIs.

LOS ANGELES – After violating the terms of her 2007 DUI probation, Lindsay Lohan recently served 14 of her 90-day sentence behind bars at Lynwood County Detention Center (she was released early due to jail overcrowding), followed by almost a month of intense court-ordered rehab at UCLA medical center.
But even as she continues to undergo rigorous outpatient therapy, a source close to Lohan told Pop Tarts that the troubled actress really doesn’t appear too different, and still seems to be sauntering around with the same nonchalant attitude towards life. “Lindsay is back doing her thing, still hanging out with the same friends that told her she did nothing wrong and that there is nothing wrong with her and she believes it,” said our source. “I wish I could say the whole jail experience had changed her, but I just don’t see it.” A rep for Lohan did not respond for comment.
Meanwhile, the 24-year-old is featured on the cover of the current issue of “Vanity Fair” claiming to be a changed woman, telling the mag that her downward spiral was triggered by associating herself with a bad crowd. "So many people around me would say they cared for the wrong reasons," she said. "A lot of people were pulling from me, taking from me and not giving. I had a lot of people that were there for me for, you know, the party." However, Lohan’s pals are concerned that she is still spending time with her former flame Samantha Ronson, as the relationship always seemed to ignite drama.

"There is absolutely nothing I can say that will alter one minute of today, nothing," Ronson tweeted to her 1.5 million followers. "I feel incredibly sad and wish I could offer more than condolences. Unfortunately there are no words to describe how sorry I am." The Los Angeles County Department of Animal Care & Control is reportedly now focusing on Ronson as the center of a criminal investigation, which may end up costing her millions. “Situations like these are very traumatic, especially when the owner of the slain dog was present and saw it all happen,” Santa Monica-based criminal defense attorney Steve Cron told us. “The emotional scarring can prompt people to sue for millions.”
