Judge Tells Lindsay She "Doesn't Want To Hear" Any Excuses

REplacelo.jpgJudge Stephanie Sautner was firm with Lindsay Lohan in a progress hearing in an LA court Thursday.

Sautner told Lindsay and her lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, that she was frustrated Lohan had not completed more of her community service hours (she needs to complete the hours within one year of sentencing.) Said Sautner:

"I'm not going to give her five extra minutes. I don't want to hear, 'Oh, I couldn't do it because I was on the set of the John Gotti movie.’”

After two months, Lindsay has completed only four of 60 required days of service.

Sautner also expressed frustration that Lindsay has not enrolled in psychological counseling (another requirement.) The question of whether Lindsay had the funds to do this came up.

“I don’t know whether she’s working, what she’s doing to get an income ... what her prospects are," Sautner said. "She has 21 days to find a counselor.”

The judge mandated that proof that Lindsay is undergoing counseling be sent to the court by August 11, though Lindsay does not have to appear in court that day.

Another progress hearing was set for October 19 at 10 a.m.

So what did Lindsay think of all this? Read what she told the judge after the jump ...

Lindsay was polite, telling the judge, “Yes, your honor,” and exchanging quiet words with her attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, after the hearing ended. She even gave a quick smile and chat to the bailiff (perhaps they know each other well by now … )

UItimately, Sautner said that Lindsay must accomplish three things: completion of Shoplifter’s Alternative, progress on psychological counseling and progress on her community service.

“Get done with that community service and your life will get back to normal pretty much,” Sautner said.

Satuner explained that Lohan has completed jail time on Count One, so that part of her probation is terminated, and that when she completes community service, that part of her probation will be terminated and “we will be done with the Beverly Hills case.”

Satuner added, “For the record, all fines and fees have been paid.”
