Just a day after Lindsay Lohan confirmed that she and DJ Samantha Ronson had broken up, the actress says she's feeling "so alone" without Sam by her side.

"It's absolute hell," Lohan says in the new issue of Us Weekly, describing the events of this past weekend as "humiliating." She continues that on Friday night, when she wasn't allowed into a party for Sam's sister Charlotte Ronson at the Chateau Marmont, was "the worst night of my life."

According to Us, Sam broke it off with Lohan on Friday and then hired five security guards to keep her out of the Chateau. Lohan told the magazine that she was also shunned by other partygoers as they made their way in.

It looks like "stay tough" is Charlotte Ronson's motto for next season. Her spring collection maintained what is becoming her signature look of rock 'n' roll party girl.

With acid-wash skinny jeans and bra tops as the base, she built outfits with rolled-shoulder vests, burnout cardigans and boyfriend blazers.

Rolled shoulders — some on belly baring cropped tops — might be the next step for the strong shoulder that first emerged for fall. A lace-up boyfriend shirt with sequined shoulder pads, however, might get passed over by most shoppers.

But if the overcapacity crowd and the seating chaos at the show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week's Bryant Park tents are any indication, Ronson has plenty of her own fans. (Or do they come to see her sister Samantha in the DJ booth?)

Ronson showed a talent for femininity in her few delicate pieces, including a charcoal-colored crinkled chiffon top, again, shortened to above the waist, that was paired with black harem pans. There was also a blush chiffon top with "armor" beading worn with billowy shorts.

We got the unexpected return of acid wash in the latest collection of Charlotte Ronson Friday afternoon, a fabric, at least to the Continental mind, synonymous with impoverished Eastern Europeans, but one that, in hands of this designer, enhanced an impressive collection by a talent who has found her creative groove.

In terms of cut, attitude, detail and finish this was an striking at bat by Ronson, whose growing maturity was clear throughout.

Whether raiding her boyfriend’s wardrobe or infusing biker trim or playing with proportions or borrowing the odd item form an indigent Pole this spring 2010 collection marked an notable new stage in Ronson’s development.

One had to admire the whole opening section – acid wash leather mini vests, sleeveless Edwardian coats with Obi waists, semi-sheer leggings or slinky jersey tunics, that all combined for a look that was very now and very cool.

Ronson is also an impressive self-editor – her use of studded shoulder pads, biker zips and golden metal belts was model of self-restraint, adding an injection of oomph, yet keeping the clothes credible.

The finale earned prolonged cheers from the audience of 800 as the models traipsed down the catwalk in Bryant Park, the central Manhattan show space where about half of the New York runway shows are staged. But the warmest applause was for the solo turn of smiling shyly sister Annabelle, who appeared in a criss-cross black bra and zippered shorts.

One can recall the odd zealous critic deriding Ronson – a Briton who has spent most of her life in New York - as a self-taught ingénue who never attended fashion school and thus, allegedly, lacked the skill sets to be a designer. That judgment seems unfair today after this show, where this autodidact seemed well in step with the current edgy, moody lady zeitgeist that infuses American fashion. In a word, it was all deliciously downtown.

Now she's been named artistic advisor of an international fashion house?

The house of Emanuel Ungaro just announced LiLo's appointment. Estrella Archs (who has designed for Nina Ricci, Emilio Pucci, Christian Lacroix and Prada) was named chief designer. We will get to see the results of their "collaboration" in the spring collection revealed in Paris on Oct. 4.

Gosh, how did LiLo find time for this fashion gig with the demands of her film and music career? Oh, yeah. That’s right. She doesn’t have a film or music career.

it's clear to me that EVERY time lindsay has succes (or a special day) Samro tries to hurt her.

And yes, reports aldo mention there was not 1 celeb at the show, only friends/family of charlotte and some reality show stars. example: The show after Charlotte (don't know who's show it was anymore) Bruce Willis and more attended. So...not a big success for charlotte this time. People also weren't positive about the headband the models were wearing during her show. Also the leather shorts were not good reviewed (note: i like those leather shorts btw, so it's their opinion, not mine)
