E! News reports that Lindsay Lohan is set to play a member of the Manson Family in a film entitled Manson Girls. Producer Brad Wyman confirms: "Yes, I am doing it with Lindsay."
Our favorite rehabber will portray Malibu native Nancy Pittman, who left home at 16 to join up with the infamous serial killer after "falling under his spell." Linds is currently starring in Chapter 27, another based-on-a-true-story film about murderer Mark David Chapman.
What happened to doing movies like Herbie: Fully Loaded? Not that we liked it, really!
Think this is a smart move for the starlet? We like her in dark roles, but this is getting a little nuts!

A Manson scarey movie, ugh, sounds awful. What they did was painfull to many people! I can't see her in a movie about his awful event. She doesn't even know what they did! She's too young.
Lohan shoud take any movie role that she can get. I am sure her salary is much lower than the pre-rehab period of her life.

She is a talented actress, but she usually chooses stupid roles that don't do her any justice. Hope it all works out.
even though it is a difficult thing to do i will not attack lindsay today. i don't think this is the kind of role you want to play when you want the public to start liking you again. with manson girls and chapter 27 she will now have played the love interest of two psychopaths. one charles manson, the other john hinkley. i hope she really gets her life back together and avoids becoming the dana plato of her generation. it's not too late to do so.

when i posted earlier today i made a mistake in saying that chaprter 27 was about john hinkley. i meant to say that the movie is about mark david chapman. hinkley is the guy who shot ronald reagan hoping that it would impress jodie foster after he had seen taxi driver. mark david chapman is the guy who shot john lennon. chapter 27 is about chapman's obsession with lennon. john hinkley's obsession with that lesbian jodie foster is ironic considering that she could not have ever been into him sexually. he's spent most of his life in prison because of his pathetic obsession with her.
