Who is really surprised? After that last collection, which was a complete disaster, it was only a matter of time. Look at the wreckage she leaves behind, Esteban Cortazar, who was a very talented designer was fired from Ungaro because he refused to work with her as he foresaw this disaster. She single-handedly ruined the name of Ungaro, even the creator of Ungaro said so. Then Moufarrige, the man who misguidedly hired her, resigned to work on 'other things', when really he has egg all over his face. He was probably going to be fired if he didn't resign.
Now she is in Paris for fashion week (after being a hyporite and saying there are more important things than New York fashion week - I guess she's not concerned about Haiti anymore) for what? Probably to look for another fashion advisor job. And the trainwreck continues to gain speed!

After a tumultuous few months that have seen one of the most critically panned spring collections in recent memory and the departure of the label's CEO, it looks like Lindsay Lohan's reign of terror as Emanuel Ungaro's artistic adviser may be coming to an end.

At today's Ungaro show in Paris, Lohan -- who's been hitting the shows all week -- was a shocking no-show, prompting speculation that she's left the fashion house, WWD reports.
(Let's hope she took her heart-shaped pasties with her.) And to add fuel to the fire, Ungaro's owner Asim Abdullah offered this telling quote to the paper: "She's not involved in this collection."

Meanwhile, insiders are whispering that the actress -- who has been enjoying a whirlwind tour of Paris Fashion Week -- wasn't even invited to the show, according to the Telegraph. Ouch! The article goes on to report that Ungaro designer Estrella Archs confirmed backstage that Lohan "was not involved in any way," yet the paper nonetheless panned the collection, saying the models "mostly looked as though they were wearing their mother's clothes."

Ooooooooh -- this is getting about as juicy as The Plastics' slam book. We previously reported that Lohan's contributing role was causing infighting at the label, but this is taking it to another level.

As quickly as Emanuel Ungaro named Lindsay Lohan an artistic advisor, the label's been even quicker to dismiss her. Under the actress' wandering watchful eye, the fashion house debuted its inaugural collection last October in Paris to major pans. There were sequined pasties and critics called it a "bad joke" and "cheesy and dated."

So what was the starlet going to put on the runway this season? In a word, nothing.

Lindsay was a no-show at the Paris Fashion Week presentation Monday morning. "She's not involved in this collection," Ungaro owner Asim Abdullah told Women's Wear Daily backstage before the show. She declined any further comment. LiLo found herself in a bit of hot water earlier in the week when she arrived at Dior's show too late to claim her front-row seat.

Lindsay Lohan’s dad is blaming the heart scare that kept him out of a Bay State celebrity boxing ring Saturday on stress over his daughter’s fall from teen movie queen to tabloid trainwreck.

“This whole thing with Lindsay,” Michael Lohan told the Herald. “I just want her to get better. To get help. The hardest part is that everyone can see what’s happening and they do and say nothing. She went from being one of the biggest, if not the biggest teen movie star of all time, to reducing herself to doing events for $100,000 or less.”

He said the “Mean Girls” and “Freaky Friday” star is a shell of her former self. He blames drugs. “I was out with her in L.A. when her place got robbed. I got her in a hotel,” he said. “Here’s this girl crying in my arms and it’s like a vacant body. I don’t care if she’s 23. She’s my kid. I want her to get better. I’m not going to bury my daughter.”

He says his daughter’s plummeting fortunes aren’t entirely to blame for his unexpected trip to the hospital, though. He says his ex-fiancee is also responsible for driving up his blood pressure.

Lohan, 49, said he has a history of heart problems and takes nitroglycerin to keep his pressure in check. He said his pills were lost when he did laundry recently, and he hadn’t yet refilled the prescription.

He was planning to fight Pittsfield native Todd Poulton Saturday in a Celebrity Boxing Federation match in Sturbridge, but when an emergency medical technician took his blood pressure during a prefight physical, it registered a staggering 172 over 124.

“He told me ‘You’re about to have a stroke,’ ” Lohan said.

Lohan said after resting in the hospital for a bit, his blood pressure dropped. He said while he was still feeling some tightness in his chest and shortness of breath, he checked out and headed home. “I signed out of the hospital against medical advice and now I’m on my way,” he said. Lohan said Massachusetts doctors recommended he get tests to see if he required a stent or an angioplasty. He said he wants his own doctor to have a look at him first.

Lohan said the heart scare hasn’t ended his career with Celebrity Boxing Federation and he hopes to step into the ring soon. “I’m an idiot!” he said. “Even if they tell me not to go to the gym, I’m still going to go to the gym.”

The "Mean Girls" actress has blasted Michael Lohan's claims that she needs to seek help for alleged problems with substance abuse, insisting he only speaks out about her because he is desperate for attention. She said: "I'm not really speaking to him. Him saying those things is the last thing that's going to get me to speak to him and I've told him that.
"He's nuts. He is someone who is crying out for help and attention. He is the one who should be in rehab. He has been on and off like this my whole life.

"The real issue here? I don't condone that he has never paid child support. He has never stepped up. It's not fair, my mom has been such a great mother and has done such a great job raising us." After her disastrous debut as artistic advisor at Emanuel Ungaro last season, with a collection that put models in glittery heart pasties, Lindsay Lohan was a no-show at the fall runway show for the French brand Monday.

(Lohan has been making the rounds at other Paris fashion shows, however, including Viktor & Rolf and John Galliano.)

The collection was probably better for it. Eighties-inspired print blouses, worn with cropped pants and boyfriend jackets, short satin skirts draped at the hips, and ruched and pleated cocktail dresses (did we really need seven nearly identical short black dresses?) paid homage to the exuberant style of the house in a way that wasn't offensive but didn't inspire much desire or look especially luxurious either.

Estrella Archs, Ungaro's design director, took her runway bow solo. But even without Lohan, who is rumored to have left her post (though a company representative would not confirm that), this collection is a still a non-starter. --Booth Moore, reporting from Paris

Her name cheapened a venerable Parisian fashion house that once featured prominently in the Heilbrunn Timeline of Art History and clothed U.S. First Ladies and European royalty. Her name and influence on last season's collection destroyed sales and forced the closure of Ungaro’s NY store. Luxury goods are under enormous pressure in a weak global economy. I doubt Ungaro will recover because women will not purchase expensive Ready-To-Wear clothing and accessories from a label tied to a failure.

Estrella should have followed Esteban's lead and refused to participate in this stunt. Last year, Estrella’s face looked grim when she was forced to walk down the runway with a has been actress, drug addict, cutter who contributed nipple pasties, forehead stickers and sleazy breast baring jackets to the failed designs. Lindsay’s 6126 whore couture line is fit for hookers. Pootie said the sketches for the proposed expanded line belong to him. If they weren’t his sketches, I’m sure the 6126 partners would have sued by now. They haven’t. I wonder who in her gay entourage will be 'ghost sketching' her whore couture line next. Lindsay’s experience with fashion is limited to being a swag whore and swiping her credit card to buy others designs. She's a w-hoarder not a designer. This year Estrella looked unhappy not grim. She probably knows the house is damaged beyond repair and will be shuttered soon. When Ungaro collapses, she should focus full time on her signature line. Her signature line from last season was beautiful and had solid sales.

Lindsay Lohan launched Sevin Nyne with drum rolls in April through Sephora, and then internationally a few weeks afterwards. In each interview she gave to promote the self-tanning spray, the actress said she and partner Lorit Simon had worked on the formula for three whole years. Now, a Florida chemist claims the two actually stole the formula from her and are using it to make a profit, as the New York Daily News can also confirm.

Jennifer Sunday filed a lawsuit against the actress and her business associate, saying she is being unlawfully robbed of profits after the two stole the formula she came up with and are now marketing as their own. The suit claims alleged breach of contract, civil conspiracy, deceptive and unfair trade practices, theft of trade secrets, and intentional interference with contractual relations. Sunday is asking for financial compensation for the profit Lohan and Simon made ever since the release of Sevin Nyne, the publication says.

“In January, Sunday’s company, White Wave International Labs, signed a confidentiality agreement with Simon. Sunday claims that the two sides had been in negotiations, but had not reached an agreement on pricing. […] Cohen added that Sunday and Lohan have never met face to face and that the chemist is looking to be compensated for Sevin Nyne’s profits.” The NY Daily News writes. Since Simon went to Lohan with the idea and then made it into what is now Sevin Nyne – which is selling very well all over the world, one might as well add – Sunday wants a share of the profits.

“The next thing we know, Lorit Simon and Lindsay Lohan are partnering and Ms. Lohan is taking credit for developing this formula, which she indeed had no role in. We are certainly looking for the profits that are being generated right now from that product.
