Lindsay And Sam On The Rocks?!

The Daily Mail is reporting that Lindsay Lohan and girlfriend Samantha Ronson have hit a rough patch in their lovey dovey relationship, and Sam is becoming frustrated with Lindsay and her hard partying ways.
Samantha reportedly feels "smothered" by Lindsay and the constant media attention, and she's beginning to realize that things may not change. A source for the paper claims that even though Lindsay acts "obsessive" at times, she may still be interested in men, and Samantha is beginning to question the long term potential of their relationship.
The source reveals:
- "Sam needs her space away from Lindsay and really needs to take a long look at what the future of this relationship can be. Sam's friends have been saying for a while that Lindsay still likes men as well as women. And for Lindsay's part, she's still caught up in her partying ways. Samantha doesn't need that in her life, not now, not ever. If these two are going to be together for the long term, Lindsay is the one who's going to have to change, calm down, and get real. Sam's made that very clear to her."
On Lindsay interfering with Sam's work:
- "Clearly, they were spending a little too much time together, and Samantha was the one who said Lindsay was getting in the way, and even acting obsessive at times. Samantha DJ'ed three big parties around the Emmy weekend in Los Angeles, and Lindsay was practically on top of her for every minute of those gigs. Lindsay was behaving in a very smothering way. For a man or a woman, it can be hard when your girlfriend insists on going to work with you every day. The problem here is that Samantha is intent on being taken seriously as a DJ, and the Lindsay sideshow was starting to overwhelm that."
On the couple's recent vacation to Cabo:
- "The vacation was all about fixing their relationship, because things had gotten dicey in late August and early September as Lindsay and Sam were just getting so much attention - so much that they needed to get out of the country for a while. But things didn't go well in Mexico. Despite the photos of them playing on the beach, Sam said things were very tense between them when they got back. She's known for being shy, but what she's less known for is being a very serious and thoughtful person, and there have always been these second thoughts about how she comes across being in this high profile 'celebrity romance'. It's never been something Sam's been willing to embrace the way Lindsay does. Going to Mexico kind of confirmed a lot of that stuff for Sam."
Think these two could really be on the outs? They've been together for so long, and they always seem so happy together! We're not sure what to believe!

The problem is Lindsay is too "me, me, me". This drains people.
Nobody really ever believed Lindsay was done with men. This was just her version of a college lesbo game. Soon enough the HoHan will find her some young hot actor to date and SamRo will fade into obscurity.
Sam sounds very smart and much more responsible then lindsey, honestly, Sam comes off sounding more balanced!

Thats sound like bull to me.Lindsays hard partying?She only goes to a nightclub lately only when Samantha is djing.Its pretty obvious Samantha is shy and hates the press,but they were out just last night and looked happy and very much together.Who knows.Samantha has been around Lindsays life for years,if these quotes actually come from her,realy is she suprised with the amount of press attention they got?Lindsay has always been a paparazzi magnet.If this article is true Samantha seems to cannot take it,and aborts the ship.So much for loving Lindsay and always be there for her as she wrote in her my space.We will see.
Lindsay would drive anyone crazy, she is so high maintenance and insecure. Can you imagine the constant attention she would need? poor Sam.

Do I think they've been spending too much time together? Who am I to judge. I, personally, wouldn't really want my significant other around every time I work. And especially if I was living with her, I would want a little space. But to each their own.
I think the story might be sprayed with bits and pieces of truth but I wouldn't take it as a picture of what their life is like together. In the last couple of days, they've been staying together in New York but doing different things and spending a bit of time apart- which leads one to believe that they're trying to give each other space... but of course, they still come home to the same bed. So maybe this new "space" is healthier for their relationship.
But please don't believe everything you hear in the tabloids or blogs....
Even freaks take a vacation from the sideshow.

Whether it's BOOLSHIT or not - and I totally think it is - these two have been friends for far more than ten years, since their New York City days when LiLo was a kid.
But I agree with a previous poster - Lindsay likes dick way too much to give it up permanently. A problem is, her taste in men is just as bad as her taste in women, sad for such a beautiful girl. I just hope Lindsay lets her down easy, if there is such a thing.
