Lindsay Finally Getting Help, Seeing A Therapist

Looks like Lindsay Lohan is finally getting the much-needed help she needs to put her troubled life back on track.
A friend tells Life & Style that Lilo has begun to see a therapist, "two, sometimes three times a week.”
The pal goes on to say that “This is not a program or substance-abuse counselor or police officer watching over her; it’s someone to talk to in a confidential state.”
Lilo already attends the court-ordered Right On Programs classes in Glendale as part of her DUI settlement.
"This is a huge stepping-stone for her,” Lindsay's friend adds. “Get in there, talk to someone, figure out what’s going on and then try to fix it." And one of the things that needs the most repairing is her relationship with her family.
Although it's unclear if she's including mending the broken relationship with her father as part of that work.
At least Lindz seems to be making family time a priority for her these days. "She’ll be home in New York with her mom, Dina, and her siblings for Thanksgiving.”
Lindsay's got a lot to be thankful for this year (the fact that she's still alive being one) but hopefully this new step in her life will be one that will bring her even more to be thankful for next year!
I hope she really is getting the help that she needs, but she'll also have to curb some of her bad habits if she wants to make a full recovery!

Hope it takes. But like so many other things that she starts, this also has a high likelyhood of failure.

Britney Spears doesn't perform at the AMA's because they have standards in which REAL artists perform, not lip sync or depend on at least a dozen backup performers to take attention away from said fact that person can not sing live. Austrailia was right to call her out that she is a fraud to the music industry.

Outpatient therapy won't help her.
She is an addict and you cannot force an addict to give up the objects of their affection.
It's a waste of time and money unless she wants help - and she most likely does not.
Her handlers are trying to put a bandaid on a major wound.
She will never function normally with this type of "help".
Her court date is approaching. That's why she makes the gestures.
But guaranteed, we can all wait with baited breath until she goes crazy again. And it WILL happen.

Addiction combined with some type of mental illness is not a good omen for a career.
Her parents need to get her out of Hollywood instead of trying to bleed this beast forever financially.

It's not just Lindsay that has a problem.
I hope for her sake she actually takes the therapy seriously. Most likely it is for good PR but maybe something good will come out of it. At least she is going. Good luck.
If this is true, I hope that Lindsay is getting the help she needs but i don't see her sticking with it. Once she thinks she feels good, she'll stop, but her stuggles with drinking and doing drugs are a life long thing to deal with. She's got to be really committed or this is another failed attemp like her stints in rehab!
