Many rehab programs transport in-patients to AA and NA meetings off-site. Meetings like the patients are expected to attend when they are released. They have to get a sponsor, find a "home" meeting, develop more contacts for support after treatment, etc. While I agree that the "gym visits" are probably just code for "drug drop sites," I think that if anyone investigated, they might find an AA meeting held at that church.

Folks, This church has an AA meeting on Friday nights; I know I've been there. Patients from rehabs in Malibu (like Cliffside Malibu and Promises) take the patients to the meeting in the "druggy buggy". It's a mandatory part of treatment in most rehabs.

To the person who said she wouldn't have energy going through oxy withdrawl. This is not true. They have medication now that blocks the really bad withdrwl. See "suboxone" they use it for opiate addiction and it works VERY well, or so I'm told :-)

She is clearly trying to use rehab. When she goes to court for her DUI she is going to play the troubled hollywood teen brought up with fortune and fame turned good girl routine so she doesn't end up going to jail like Paris. Do you think she would have it any other way? She didn't go to rehab before this DUI. Oh right she sort of did. But in her own words she claimed she went to rest, she found a "peaceful" place to rest. This saddens me because these girls that grow up like this are so self absorbed they can't stop for one minute and think about how they can better society they have to think more about poor me poor me. Be like angelina and do something that shows you have made positive changes in your life. I don't mean by going and adopting 3 kids either. Take the time and get to know life for what it really is by seeing it first hand. Experience what other helpless needy children experience as life everyday. That is rehab in itself. Stop using this as your get away ticket and do something more proactive. Then and only then will people believe you are serious about the changes you want to make in your life.

Have you watched some of these clips they have of the paps chasing these people? It's horrid. I dont' think that is anyway to live a life. I think they are people just like you and I and this only confirms what some of us already know, there are real people with real life problems. We gush and goo about them when they are the sweet little dakota fanning type girls and then they grow up and have life crisis' and we all backlash at them for it. We call them tramps and trailer trash, what is Lindsey or Britney was your friend? Wouldn't you want them to get the help that they needed?
