Lindsay Leaves LA To Shoot A BBC Documentary In India

We caught Lindsay Lohan at LAX right before she hopped on a flight to India last night, and it looks like the most scandalous starlet of 2009 will be working on a BBC documentary while she's there. There are conflicting reports as to what the project is about (Page Six says the doc focuses on poverty-stricken children while Life & Style reports that it's about the trafficking of women and children), but either way, it looks like Lindsay has signed up for a good cause! Er, right?
A source tells L & S that the real reason Lindsay is going on the trip is "to better herself and get away from her party-girl image. She wants to be taken more seriously." Ah, well at least she's helping someone in the process!
But this is the weird part...Page Six reports that Samantha Ronson and Michael Lohan will also be working on the project, so hopefully Lindsay doesn't bring her drama to another country!
Speaking of drama, when we asked Linds if she was dating Jason Segel, she said no, and when questioned about her love life she told photographers, "None of your business!" So what should we be doing? "Focus on the more important things in the world!" Lindsay said. Seeing as she's about to head to India for a humanitarian trip of sorts, we see her point, but this IS the girl whose pornoriffic pix hit the web less than 48 hours ago. Should we really take her that seriously? Maybe after we see this documentary?
Maybe she'll come back a better person?

I'm happy that Linds is going to India in pursuit of a charitable cause. It's so unfortunate that because of probation requirements she can't go away for a while and sort herself out.
As a fan I must say that I was extremely disappointed and scandalised by those photos; in fact I didn't look after the first one. That shoot was very ill-advised; she should fire the person on her team who suggested it.
There are no short cuts to success. Linds must put in the hard work if she wants to revive her career.

As a fan I'm not happy with the pornographic turn that Linds has taken with those photos but I truly hope and pray that gong to India on this project, seeing real poverty and suffering will bring change in perspective for her; cause her to see beyond herself, and learn to be truly grateful for what she has been blessed with and not throw it away. It is to be hoped that a desire to humbly serve will be awakened in Linds and she'll return a changed person. She needs to do something and quick to erase those horrific images from everyone's mind.

Let her go to India and see the poverty and the way people have to live maybe she will realize how much she has and will finally see that whatever bad has happened in her life is nothing compared to what those poor people in India go through everyday. Hopefully this will humble her enough to make a real change in her life.
