Could Lindsay's Driver's License Go Up In Smoke?

According to the California Department of Motor Vehicles, "You already multi-task when you are driving; your mind and body are working simultaneously to drive your vehicle. You should not add another task on top of what you already need to do to drive safely."

The state's motor vehicle web site goes on to say that among other things drivers should never do, smoking is one: "Smoking and dealing with lighting up, putting out cigarettes, or falling ashes."

Now really ... we know there are plenty of people smoking while driving and the offense isn't punishable by law (unless you're smoking with a minor in the car and pulled over for another reason -- in which case you can get $100 fine). But is Lindsay really being prudent, given all the legal trouble she's been in?

And wouldn't a electronic cigarette be healthier, albeit, just as distracting? But still!
