BEVERLY HILLS -- Actress Lindsay Lohan has been ordered to appear in court in Beverly Hills on Friday for possibly violating the terms of her probation.

Lohan, 23, was arrested in July, 2007 for driving under the influence. She lost control of her Mercedes SL65 and crashed into some shrubs, following a night of partying. Cocaine was also found in the vehicle.

Lohan pleaded no contest to the charges. She was sentenced to three years probation, spent 24 hours in jail and was also ordered to attend Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.

A progress hearing had been scheduled for Friday in the case which did not require the actress to attend. However, Judge Marsha Revel has ordered Lohan to appear in court at 8:30 a.m., according to Jane Robison, spokesperson for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office.

Sources say the judge's order may have something to do with her failure to complete that alcohol program.

If Lohan's probation is revoked, could be forced to go to jail.

This could be saving Lindsay's life--being hauled in front on the judge. For months now she has been spiraling out of control. Lindsay needs long-term rehab and therapy. Not only does she have alcohol and drug problems but she has some serious emotional issues which point to borderline personality disorder. At least her father is expressing concern for her as opposed to Dina, who is seriously enabling Lindsay. I think Dina is as sick as Lindsay is and I think Dina indulges in the nose candy herself.
