X17 EXCLUSIVE - Inferno Producer Says He's "Committed" To Lindsay Lohan, Replacement Rumors Are False

Jordan Gertner, producer of Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story, has spoken to X17online to confirm that they're sticking by Lindsay Lohan's side when it comes to making the movie.
Gertner told X17online exclusively, "Lindsay's our Linda Lovelace. We're committed to have Lindsay in the movie. Our lead actress is currently not available, so we'll continue to change our schedule until she is."
When asked about internet rumors that actresses Elisha Cuthbert and Taryn Manning were possible replacements for Lindsay, Gertner said those reports are "completely and utterly untrue."
So what about production moving to California to accommodate Lindsay and her legal troubles? "We haven't decided on a shooting location, but it will all depend on Lindsay," Gertner told us. At least Lindsay has her first post-rehab job lined up!

You got to admire the producers of Inferno for sticking by their woman. It would be very easy to just dump Lindsay like everybody else is doing. But the Inferno guys have been very nice to Lindsay. I admire that.
I'm sure they're aware that the only reason anyone has heard of their production is because Lindsay is associated with it.
Lindsay probably likes the idea of the part because it won't be too much of a stretch for her -- as many critics observed of her role in Machete, she will essentially be performing as herself, or a caricature of herself.
Maybe the faith initiative can fund some weird church to buy the entire dvd run thinking they will be removing crap from the market. The conservatives will celebrate and she will loose all of her fans. At the least she should be offered a chance to bail out.
