People are ignoring Lindsay? Really? Just like "real friends should", as the media continues to hound and pound her with harrassment and lies. It was not so long ago that they did the same to Britney Spears. One should not negate the power of the media to boost or destroy a entertainers personal and career goals. The result can be ruined lives and sorrow why? To sell papers and make money off these sites. Does anyone really know what goes/went on between Lindsay and Samantha? Should we know? Better question do we care? I know I do not, but when someone is in trouble, hurting or perhaps using because of the harm being being done to them aren't the same people who "had no problem soaking up media attention when Lindsay was at the top of her popularity", be the same people who surround her to support and protect her? They would not because deep down they only care about themselves and their careers, and if she is in the way, she will be ignored, are there any "real friendships in Hollywood?" I do not know Lindsay but I feel for her as she is hounded and gets no relief from the paps, it must be horrible. And for the post about "Benji Madden', he is the worst sort of media whore,as he runs around with a bunch of grown men in capes like a bunch of children, and then posts videos of women who are under the influence of drugs or alcohol for the amusement of his boy club. This type of passive aggressive behavior is an abuse of media power as he posts these videos to harm and humiliate strangers, the very act he "proclaims to be against as a celebrity". Benji is just as bad as the paps or worse as he has many who would join in to humiliate a defenseless private citizen in the hopes to get his attention. This girl is a total mess of a human life. While I don't agree with how her Dad is going about trying to help her, it's pretty obvious she is out of control, on prescription pills and without any concern for whatever she has left of her career. It's only a matter of time before she overdoses or just dies. Why her management team (Untitled) or her PR team (BWR) doesn't drop her to shock her into some form of reality is beyond me. She is living her Marilyn Monroe "fantasy" and probably thinks it's cute to follow in her destructive life. Shame on her agencies, her parents and her friends for allowing this behavior and NOT having her locked up in a rehab facility.

I don't understand the relevance in releasing the content of this (edited) conversation from nearly 18 months ago when so much has changed since then...like status of Lindsay & Samantha's relationship (including their admissions that it was unhealthy), living arrangements, and LL's career involvements (leggings, tanning, a movie, Ungaro, etc...)

A rumor is good for twice the media coverage. First the media runs the rumor then they run the denial.
