Your essay on “myspace” seems to provide a very shallow minded suggestion on how people should vote. Do you honestly believe the most important issues that the government has their hand in are premarital sex, abortion, gay rights and environmental protection (drilling –Freudian slip)? Where the hell have you been the last 10 years? The office of the President of the United States serves the public in many more ways than religious views. Granted, the President will likely select another court justice, but you made no statement about that. How important is selection of a justice to you? Do you even know?

Let me suggest, if you think the government should answer all of your moral, ethical and religious questions, Don’t Vote!

Marriage is a religious commitment. The government made a mistake in recognizing marriages. They are giving special consideration to married people that is not given to single people. Tax payer dollars should not be spent on marriages.

Therefor any marriages conducted by the state should be null and voided and citizens should be remarried at non-governmental agency.
