lr - lesbians don't necessarily dress anymore manly than straight women; you just might be assuming that all of these women are lesbians. lesbians that don't dress like the stereotype aren't as obvious and so you wouldn't assume them to be lesbian. also, since lesbians aren't trying to attract a man, they don't have to follow traditional gender roles and ways of dressing to attract men; they can just be themselves. and a lot of lesbians find that if they don't dress "gay" lesbians don't believe that they're really lesbian, and some women do it to be more visible. i think that sam's just trying to be "hip" and stand out.

also, how do you know that sam's a lesbian? i've never heard her say it nor heard any reports of her exes. aren't we all being presumptuous?

i think that they're just going along with the gay thing for attention. if it weren't for this whole sam/gay thing, we wouldn't even be hearing about lindsay and sam wouldn't be making as much money doing gigs.
