First of all a death is a death is a death. And I my condolences go out to the family and friends who are truly affected by this. That being said, yeah perhaps this guys has a point that the grandfather passed away and lets hope that Dina, Lindsay etc.. make and effort to pay their respect. BUT wtf you don't point this out. That's your opinion 9:04 and good for you for having one, but I think it is atrocious to use his father's death to position himself in this fight against others in this messed up family. If he's not willing to shut his hole long enough to show some decency, why should he be given respect? I might have given him some sway and totally felt bad for his loss, but he used it as a tool for a fight. And just wait, you can be damn sure that the others will come out doing the same thing. When my father died, there were some in the extended family that were going through conflicts I was not directly involved with. His death facilitated healing process among them and now the issue is resolved to everyone's satisfaction. What is happening here is the direct opposite of that. It's nothing short of dirty.

Umm, Michael, that was really wrong of you to issue a challenge to your ex-wife so soon after your father's death. It's like saying, "I dare you to let my children attend my father's funeral". Lindsay is an adult, and the younger daughter is old enough to decide for herself. They'll attend if each of them feels some connection with their grandfather. It has nothing to do with you or their mother. What about your other child? This would be that child's grandfather, too.

I think Lindsay and Sister are old enough to make up their own minds as to showing up for the funeral, Dina would have nothing to say about it in the first place. But dad didn't need to add in his digs at this time.

I am also sorry for his loss. I do know how hard it is to help someone fight for their life almost by yourself. Maybe he was taking frustration and fear out on his daughter trying to "save" her (in his mind). It is hard to watch someone you love die. God speed to his Dad.

Sorry Michael, but I can see Dina's concern.

The only true colors being shown are Michael's. At a time when clearly Michael should be mourning the loss of his father, he somehow felt that the best thing to do was call up OK magazine and rant about DIna to them and then to comment further to X17. I don't know who Michael thinks he is fooling but the last time I checked all of the things he has been doing as of late are very un-Christian like.
The only thing that Michael continues to do is show us that he is the very "parasite" that he is accusing everyone else of being.

This may partially explain Michael Lohan's behavior lately. The fact that his father was dying may have put him on edge. I do wish him peace in getting through this.
