i had appendicitis and was in pain for about 4 days. laughing? forget it. and i had to wear sweat pants for a week until my abdomen could handle jeans. appendicitis, lindsay? yeah, right.

Such a shame. I don't believe for one minute she had her appendix out. My husband had them out and was in the hospital for 4 days.

Unfortunately, there is only so much you can blame on the parents. After the age of 18 (in the UK at least) a child is considered an adult and you have no right to put them in rehab or make them go to therapy or do anything basically. So even if your child is wasting away before your eyes unless they decide themselves to enter rehab you can only sit back and watch (or try and have them committed; not that easy). Having said that, Dina Lohan is disgusting: riding on her daughters coat tails, pushing her into the limelight - she is a middle aged woman - what is she doing?? And despite seeing what fame and money have done to Lindsay she's pushing her other daughter the same way!

Ask any DOCTOR and they will tell you THIS IS BOGUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This surgery is extremely painful and recovery is longer than a week. My sister wasnt even allowed back to work for 2 weeks, DOCTORS orders. You cant go out a few nights after wearing jeans. Omg she couldnt even have her sweatpants on. You cannot move around too much because you can injure the site or your insides. Man they really screwed up by saying this is what she had LOL.

I wouldn't say abortion... I thought so at first, ya know, with her love of Marilyn Monroe (she had 20+ abortions and miscarriages) and her talk about loving the lifestyle of Sex and the City, but abortions do leave your body pretty sore, especially the legs, you walk funny for a few days. And you have to wear huge pads, isn't she wearing tights? Showing off the crotch area? Kinda uncomfortable to be wearing huge pads and tights, you'd defintely see a pad wouldn't you? My first thought was that she had liposuction. Alot of remarks have pointed to a portruding belly, but I think recovery time might be even longer than an apendectomy. If she terminated a pregnancy, she would be sore for a few days but not disabled. Women do it all the time and get on with thier lives. It's possible she had an apendectomy, it wasn't an emergency apendectomy, which is life threatening. The reports say she requested that it be removed, which is a little weird. Most people don't request surgery.

Well, just playing devil's advocate here, but WebMD does say that today appendectomies that are done laporoscopically, the patient can be released within 24 hours and get back to a normal routine within a week. Maybe it's different today, but I had abdominal laporoscopy a little over 10 years ago and I was sore and bedridden and doubled over for a good week. Who knows. This girl is nuts and so is her mother. Maybe I am too - how pathetic is it that I went to the trouble of checking out WebMD to verify Lindsay Lohan's lies?

If it was an abortion, I totally understand her not wanting anyone to know about it, given some of the religious whack-jobs running around.

There is NO WAY she had surgery of any kind - appendix removal or female surgery! She would have been required to use a wheelchair. She would have been completely groggy and out of it because of the medication. She WALKED out of the hospital YELLING - she probably had her stomache pumped!

Um, nowadays, no one has to have surgery to have an abortion anymore. If you're under three months pregnant, you can take an abortion pill and stay at home. I doubt she would stay overnight for an abortion, unless she was like 4-5 months along or whatever and didn't fucking realize that she didn't have her period for like 3 months. So, yeah, I think it was boob job/plastic surgery related.

I had my appendix removed and was realeased the next day from the hospital, but there is no way I could have gone out that night or any there after for nearly a week. This chick is so bizarre.

I just had mine out 6 months ago - laparoscopic. My stay was in the hospital was 2 days. Upon release, I was wheeled out in a wheelchair and needed assistance getting into my ride home. Although I didn't feel terrible after being released (I was on Vicodin), I couldn't do anything but rest on my couch for the first 24 hours. I could get up to pee and answer the phone (slowly!)and that was it. I couldn't really move around well until about 3 days later but even then I was still moving slow and had to wear sweatpants. Additionally, my husband said I looked bad and in pain. It was approximately 10 full days before I felt normal again. Doctors orders were 2 complete weeks off from work then upon returning he put me on 2 weeks of restrictions (lifting/pushing/pulling) but he did say to walk more than usual during this time. Walk, walk, walk.

I'm healthy & active and also the same age as Lindsay. There's no way she had her appendix removed.
