Okay, technically we did know that Liv Tyler and Eva Mendes were close... but still! It's not like they're BFFs that hang out together 24/7. And besides, this weekend has been full of randoms getting together!
Check out the duo (both of whom are actresses slash models) strolling the streets of NYC in matching dresses. Not only do they share a friendship, they share a similar style!

matching dresses? they're two completely different dresses.
theyre both maxi dresses. der
i knew they are friends. eva was on conan once and talked about how hear and liz like to go to this asian bathouse/spa and that they were talking about it being a good idea to invite conan to go with them...he was pretty excited, of course
They also share that Juaquin (sp) Pheonix was intensely infatuated with the both of them when he worked with them.
Rachel Zoe styles them both.

They just inked a record deal. The band is called "The Softies" LivT plays guitar and does Lead Vocals and Eva or BabyE plays Bongos/tambourine. Heard them live in L.A. and they seriously Rock!
