Mercy is so adorable...Love madonna as always...She didn's steal anyones kid...Mercy's was in a orphanage...Either her family didn't want her or couldn't take care of her...Does that mean she should suffer the rest of her life,being poor, not knowing what it is like to be a part of a family...Take it from someone who grew up in the "system", it ain't no fun.

The baby was in an orphanage and had no parents. She did have a grandmother who was very old but she approved of the adoption.

That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. People do not buy records or concert tickets based on the star's adoption of kids! Madonna's career is far from over, in fact she was the most successful artist of 2008-2009.

People and organisations that fight against these adoptions as inhumane should publish statistics on Malawi orphanages vis-a-vis life expectacy of the beneficiaries, how far they go with education, career, etc. and let the world know if they would indeed offer a more human alternative. I also call upon them to declare how much they get from any donations to such institutions. That information will show you how greedy and immoral the souls that run them and their supporters are. I challenge them.
