Someone Paid $37,500 For A Nude Madonna Photo?

Yup, someone coughed up thousands of dollars for a shot of the material girl sans, well, material!
According to the Associated Press, a full-frontal, nude photo of Madonna sold for $37,500 at an auction yesterday. A mystery European buyer bought the picture, which showed a 20-year-old unwaxed Madonna baring her goodies for the cameras.
At the time, Madonna was struggling as a dancer, and it's been reported that she was paid around $25 for the photo session.
The black-and-white pictures shot by Lee Friedlander first appeared in Playboy in 1985, and Friedlander has said that Madonna "seemed very confident, a street-wise girl. She told me she was putting a band together but half the kids that age are doing that. She was a good professional model."
The photo auctioned off yesterday was one of six from that shoot that appeared in Playboy - the other five pictures were sold together in 2003 for $7,170.
Think Madonna regrets posing naked? Nah, she probably just wishes she got paid more!
