Maksim Chmerkovskiy is fighting back over claims he abused Hope Solo behind the scenes of Dancing With the Stars. Solo, 31, made the accusations in her new book, Solo: A Memoir of Hope.

In her memoir, Solo wrote:

"He manhandled me in rehearsals from the start, pushing me, whacking my stomach, bending my arms roughly. I thought that was just how it went -- how dancers worked with each other. But it kept getting worse. One day, Maks was trying to put me in a certain position and hit my stomach so hard with his open palm that I had a red handprint there for the rest of the day."

Maksim responded to the accusation with the following Tweet: "Always hated hypocrites and liars, but when someone is both and an opportunist, I just feel bad for them. Can't win at someone's expense."

Hope also claims in the book that Maksim "slapped" her "hard" across the face during rehearsal.

Well, maybe it's just a cutout of Rob Kardashian, but looks pretty real to us!

DWTS' pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy and a bevy of reality show stars partied the night away at Svedka's Second Annual Night of a Billion Reality Stars bash at Supperclub in Los Angeles.

Those in attendance sipped on Freak-A-Zoid vodka cocktails in the "Smush Room." You guessed it ... that room came equipped with life-size cutouts of the Jersey Shore cast members. We'll fist pump to that!

Maksim Chmerkovskiy stole The Situation's signature move and flashed us his rock-hard abs on his way to dance rehearsal Tuesday. The sexy Russian wasn't shy about showing off what a lifetime of dancing gets you, and we must say... he puts the Jersey Shore star to shame!

The 32-year-old pro is partnered with Melissa Gilbert on the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars, and the duo is already hard at work making sure they perfect their moves and snag this season's mirror ball trophy.

Maks' ex and fellow pro Karina Smirnoff took home the prize last season with her partner J.R Martinez, so this bad boy has something to prove!

Speaking of Miss Smirnoff... reports surfaced today that the sexy Ukranian has been going on secret dates with actor Owen Wilson. We wonder if the Midnight in Paris star would ever hit the dance floor with his rumored new lady?!

While taking some time off from ABC's Dancing With the Stars, professional dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy put his dancing abilities to good use while choreographing Propel Zero's "Drops of Life" commercial in New York.

We can't help but notice how sexy the hunky dancer looks in his form-fitting shirt and jeans. Oh, and did we point out that he's doing the splits? Yowza!

We're getting thirsty just lookin' at him!

Yesterday we spotted Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Hope Solo leaving rehearsals for Dancing with the Stars, and we also caught Nancy Grace, Rob Kardashian and Cheryl Burke sweating it out.

So what's this we hear about Maks and fellow pro Derek Hough feuding behind the scenes? "They hate each other," an insider tells Us Weekly. The boys reportedly squabbled after Chmerkovskiy told DWTS judge Len Goodman to retire the other day, and Derek (who's won the competition three times now) told the mag, "I had a laugh about that [remark] ... I was looking at the plaque upstairs and…well, never mind." Burn!

"The professional dance community is really small. The dancers have known one another their entire lives," the source added. "Now that the group is famous, it's added a whole other level of rivalry and competitiveness."

Dancing With The Stars' Maksim Chmerkovskiy is partnered with Kirstie Alley this season, who has met both praise and criticism for her changing weight.

But Maksim let loose without his partner at Trousdale lounge Tuesday night. Also at the club as of late were Justin Timberlake and Chace Crawford, though all three were with separate groups.

Alley, 60, has been seen out partying plenty lately, especially at Colony nightclub in Hollywood.

Dancing With The Stars fan favorites Kirstie Alley and partner Maksim Chemerkovskiy, stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show where they were gifted with much safer Dancing costumes, courtesy of Ellen!

The talk show host gave the stars a bubble wrap dress, vest and pants, so all of their parts will be protected if they fall!

Maksim was so excited, he decided to test out his new bubble wrap vest, but quickly took it off once he started dancing -- thank you Maksim!

Kirstie also left the host with a signed pair of her dancing shoes to auction off for the Gentle Barn, Ellen's pet charity.

Yesterday we spotted Dancing With The Stars hottie Maksim Chmerkovskiy and a few pals brunching at Toast in West Hollywood, and he made sure to show one of his friends plenty of attention in between bites of food. After the tumble he took with partner Kirstie Alley the other night, it looks the two are still getting along great, as evident from the sweet things he's been tweeting at her over the past few days.

So what has Kirstie been up to? We spotted her at Katsuya later that evening, and we love the fact that she's got the confidence to slip into a slinky black dress!
