The lovely Marcia Cross is certainly making the most of her time off (read: writer's strike) from Desperate Housewives by spending time with her adorable daughter Eden...or is that Savannah?
Anyway, do you think she looks anything like her mom?

I think the eggs used to make these babies were not Marcia's! Seriously, she is too old and I doubt her eggs were viable when she conceived. I think she used an egg donor mixed with her husband's sperm to create these babies ... and yeah, they definitely don't look like her, which would make perfect sense! Once women reach a certain age, it can be very difficult, if not impossible, to produce viable eggs anymore!

I agree with the earlier posters that the baby looks exactly like her dad. I wouldnt worry if they are considered cute or not right now, as they are at that awkward stage between being an infant and a toddler, and very few babies look cute then. We can pass judgment on their looks when they are older.

Um, yes I do know that women are born with all the eggs they ever have, however, check your research - those eggs decline in quality as women age, thus the higher risk of birth defects and Down Syndrome the older a woman gets. I'm not trying to hate - I am just being realistic. You can read anywhere that most medical practitioners will tell you that a woman of 45 having viable eggs is rare. It CAN happen, but most women who conceive at that age use donor eggs mixed with their husband's sperm.

my Mom and some of her aunts conceived at the age of 52 --- so can happen and do happen more often than you can imagine ...babies came out beautiful and healthier too ...
