Mariah Carey Wins First Award For Supporting Role In Precious!

Mariah Carey took home the Best Supporting Actress award for her role in Precious at the Hollywood International Film Festival in Capri. This is the singer/actress' first award for her unglamorous role in the film, although she's already set to receive the "Breakthrough" award at the Palm Springs film festival next month, and the entire cast is up for an ensemble SAG award.
So it's possible Mariah's moustache could win her more awards than her Glitter ever dreamed of!

Well, she had bad reviews on it's role in the first film, years ago. Now it has been proven as an actress. I'ts not better than the day after the other. Congrats, MIMI!

i'm italian...and in my same country almost nobody knows the Capri Film Festival.In Venice, Turin, and Salerno there are serious festival with high quality movies from every part of the world.Then there are little festivals...full of mediocre movies...like the ones in Rome and Capri..with no history..made just for promoting turistic purposes...Mariah Carey came here just for holidays...then they also invited her and Samuel L Jackson in this sad festival...with the excuse of giving them an award....for using their popularity...
