Marion Cotillard and Joaquin Phoenix looked downright miserable as they huddled together on a dingy in the Hudson River to shoot scenes for the still untitled James Gray film in frigid New York City, on Wednesday afternoon.

The duo donned authentic 1920s costumes for their outdoor scenes, and the long filming schedule and chilly weather appeared be to taking a toll on the Oscar winner, who kept warm with a big winter jacket in between scenes.

Cotillard plays a woman in Roaring Twenties America who is tricked into a life of burlesque dancing and prostitution by a savvy pimp, Bruno Weis, played by Phoenix. The film is set to hit theaters in 2013.

Looking lovely and refreshed sans makeup, new mom Marion Cotillard was beaming as she carried her darling baby boy Marcel through the LAX airport, on Thursday.

The Oscar winner has been traveling quite bit this month with the release of her hit film, Contagion, and she's been spotted taking her son with her everywhere she goes. At just 4 months old, little Marcel is already a world traveler!

Cotillard has most recently been working on the highly anticipated Batman movie, Dark Knight Rises, alongside Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman and Morgan Freeman.

Cotillard and her French director beau, Guillaume Canet, welcomed their first child together last May.

We spotted the Oscar winner at LAX on Saturday, where she went without makeup as she pushed new baby Marcel through the airport.

Marcel was born in May, and Marion has consistently worked since; the French actress has been busy with everything from ad campaigns to filming The Dark Knight Rises.

Because of her pregnancy, Cotillard missed the Cannes Film Festival this year. Her latest film, Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris, premiered at the fest. Next up for her is Batman movie The Dark Knight Rises, which reunites her with Inception director Christopher Nolan. The movie will shoot in London, Los Angeles, Pittsburgh, New York, India and Scotland -- so apparently baby Marcel will be a world traveler early on!

The Oscar-winning actress and her longtime beau, Guillaume Canet, met on set of the 2003 French film Love Me If You Dare.

Canet, who is an actor and director, has been dating the 35-year-old Inception star for three years.
