MK And Ashley Debuting New Line Of Sunglasses
Posted on Wed Oct 14, 2009 09:06 AM PDT

Captain Obvious paid a visit to the Olsen twins recently when they came up with the bright idea to include sunglasses in their immensely popular clothing line, The Row.
WWD reports that the sisters, who started the oversized sunnies trend, will start with four silhouettes, a classic metal aviator, an oversize square frame, vintage-inspired brow-line rims and a pair of round 60s-style shades.
“We’re testing the market first and obviously these are four very different silhouettes, so we’re seeing what people are responding to and we’ll open up a couple more silhouettes for fall,” Ashley told the mag. “We tried to find certain pieces that look good on more than one face, to pay close attention to how they fit certain faces and make them wearable at the same time.”
MK added, “Designing eyewear was definitely more complicated than we thought, and of course we wanted to be extremely hands-on."
The shades will retail for anywhere from $325 to $390.

Doesn't Rachel Zoe credit herself for starting the trend?
Anyways whoever did start it should be shot. It is freaking ugly and makes anyone that wears them look like old hags.
Anyone who spends that kind of money on sunglasses is a certifiable idiot.
They should make an oversized frame to cover their whole face. Ugly!!!!
I think the ugly stick has come back into fashion!
no matter how old these freak girls get they will always be just that, little girls.
they would be better servered by designing bags to put over their faces, please!.
Hey Olsons! Stop designing crap! We don't want it!
