Mary-Kate Wears the Pants (Finally!)

The frequently pants-less fashion icon, looking like she rolled out of bed and threw on her daddy's clothes, stepped out in Hollywood yesterday. I actually think her menswear inspired outfit is cute - but maybe I'm just so excited to see her in pants! And who's that scary-looking guy she's with? Is he her newest bf? If so, better hide him from Lindsay!
Has MK actually gained some weight, or is it just the ensemble? Either way, she's looking really healthy!
Bodyguard? Boyfriend? Whaddya think?
The twins are getting harder and harder to tell apart...It was easier when one was a brunette!

I think the slacks are a MAJOR improvement. They give her a nice line; she actually looks relatively classy!
Either way, I've always admired how she and her sister both seem to wear precisely what they want to wear, regardless of the latest fashion bandwagon everyone else is so quick to jump on. Sometimes they're "in style" and sometimes they're not - but independence certainly looks great on them!

Whoah I'm actually liking this ensemble! The sunglasses are very Chloe Sevigny I agree! I think this is a big improvement on the stockings and dominatrix-inspired footwear... I really do love Mary-kate's anarchic approach to fashion, but she did look a lot better a few years ago :(
