Report: Today Show Host Matt Lauer Headed For Divorce

Anchorman Matt Lauer and his wife Annette are splitting up, according to various online reports.
Lauer, 52, has been anchoring The Today Show since 1997. Sources close to the show say that he and his wife have been "living apart for two months."
Annette, who has been married to the newsman for 12 years, has accused Matt of being unfaithful during The Today Show's coverage of the Winter Olympics in Vancouver, according to the Enquirer.
Reports also claim that Annette was made aware of her husband's cheating through Today Show staffers who allegedly witnessed Lauer "getting especially cozy" with two female broadcasters.
The couple have three children together. Back in 2006, while Annette was pregnant with their third child, she filed for divorce. However, one month later, she withdrew the petition.
A source tells the mag, "Matt is trying to keep this [split] on the down low. Lauer's NBC bosses are pressuring the presenter to maintain his image as a solid family man to appeal to his largely female audience."
Calls to Lauer's rep have not been returned.

The only thing disgusting about this story is the fact that Matt has been doing this since he married her and they have only dragged on this sham of a marriage for the sake of Matt saving face. His behavior has been going on for years and years and years and she played the "long suffering wife" role. Matt is a pig, has always been a pig and will always be a pig. Just pay her a lump sum and be done with it already Matt, stop trying to cover your cheating a$$. Everyone on the planet knows you are a cad....no amount of PR spin is going to hide that fact.
NBC bigwigs want Lauer to present the "family man" image? Too late, the cat is out of the bag! First Tiger, then Jesse, then David, now Lauer? WTF!

I remember several years ago there was talk of their marrige being in trouble. He probably got caught that time too and his poor wife agreed to give the marriage another chance. She should have kicked him to the curb then as look at all the years she wasted on this cheating douche.
wow - you guys have him guilty with no evidence. And I know this time of report has been mentioned over the years. But who is the girl(s) or Women/woman? Haven't seen any pics. None have come forward for their 15 minutes. If you are going to believe this then why even suggest Meredith. According to all the Tabs they hate each other and he wants her to leave the show. Oh, maybe that is the cover up. There have also been reports that the wife is nuts. Is anorexic, etc. The latter could be from some pictures.

Wow, I wonder why the comments were much more hateful when the story was about Tiger cheating? Here's the truth, Tiger cheated on a white woman and he isn't a white man. That's why most people were soooooooo upset with him, end of story!
