Some of you people are plain ignorant! Adopting American babies is not as easy as you think and they are not as healthy as asian babies. When adopting an asian baby no one can come and take your baby away because they suddendly decide they didin;t want to give her up! I am currently waiting to adopt from china and really think you should shut the hell up unless you've been there and have done the research!

First of all 5:27 AM , that's your problem you become picky when you can't even naturally conceive kids. The kids in asia are healthier, are you serious? Really, have you seen the douche that shot and killed 32 people at VIrginia tech, the asian guy who had mental problems. And not everyone asks for their kids back later on, that's why you sign adoption papers...once the time when they can legally act to take the child back passes, the child is yours. sheryl crow, who is a good friend of meg ryan's, had no problem adopting in america. adopted a two week old son.
Sheryl Crow seems to have 'bought' her newborn baby from some teengage mother or a surrogate. I would have preferred it had she adopted via Social Services. But that is at least as hard as adopting from abroad and you won't get a newborn. Meg Ryan at least waited two years and followed standard procedures just like every non-celeb parent-to-be adopting from China. Her baby was 14 months when she got her.
