When Meg Met Daisy...

Speaking of full lips, we just happened to spot former America's Sweetheart - no, not Julia - Meg Ryan out and about in Santa Monica this weekend with her adopted daughter Daisy. The duo did a little grocery shopping before heading off. And we must admit, Meg looks pretty good! Think her and Tom Hanks will ever do another rom-com together again?

I agree with 12:29 and have been saying so for years. Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman adopted their kids years and years ago - they are now "their kids." Same with Daisy.

A lot of people don't adopt in the US because of the hassel you have to go thru. Plus you have to deal with the fact that judges seem to like to put babies back in with abusive crack addicted biological moms.
I am glad she chose adopting from abroad over 'ordering' a baby via the private adoption system like so many other celebs have done. Adopting from China is a lot harder. It's adopting from social services that is way too hard. Meg Ryan tried to do that for years but it never worked out.

Meg Ryan actually did not have any plastic surgery; it all is just a tabloid stuff (and some too gullible people glad to eat this stuff to readily). This surgery rumor was around since Toronto film festival in Sept 9 2003 when a few pix of Meg were published with her lips and cheeks seeming unusually "puffy". It was just a few bad pics while many other photos taken just SAME DAY-or later- she looked absolutely normal. But (of course...) almost nobody already wanted to note this. Because of it's much funnier to "chew" a sensation titles like "Meg Ryan is not Meg Ryan anymore!" - etc. etc. etc. - and it SALES. So those few unlucky bad pics were more then enough to "launch the sensation". Since then, hundreds of new Ryan's photos were published everywhere (paprazzi, public appearances, interviews, etc.)- and everywhere she looks pretty normal. You can go to any search engine, try "Meg Ryan" and just check photos from last years. If you will try just to forget for a minute all this hammering brainwashing tabloid stuff endlessly repeated in last years, and to look with a "fresh eyes" - you will see just "usual" Meg Ryan, without noteworthy visible differenced between (for example) 2001, 2004 and 2007. Maybe a bit aged (that is pretty natural) but nothing more.
I think it confirms that this notorious "plastic surgery" of Ryan actually never happened. It's just another tabloid fantasy, nothing more. After all everybody can be "captured" by an avid paparazzi with some unusual face expression, especially the stars (for whom paparazzis really hunts.. sometimes specially for to take some "unusual" photo). But naturally such a picture - even if published and persistently circulating - is not yet a proof of some "unsuccessful plastic surgery" that the person as if had.
...Good for her that she's having a new kid. The child looks nice and happy... that is good too!
I do think she had her lips plumped, but I do agree that it isn't even half as bad as so many people and magazines feel the great need to scream about. They do their best to pick out the worst pics of celebs all the time for their 'plastic surgery' articles. It's just ridiculous. I stopped buying those magazines.
I just adore Meg Ryan. (She is not a 'has been' rather she is very involved in her craft/acting. (IF she was a 'has been' then Meg would not be the theme at hand. I am so pleased that I discovered these photos. She is so blessed, as is her daughter Daisy...to have each other.
