Transformers director Michael Bay chatted with The Wall Street Journal about the film's wild success and, of course, Megan Fox came up...
What does Michael hafta say about Megan's description of the movie that made her, ya know, a movie star? ("I don't want to blow smoke up people's a** - people are well aware that this is not a movie about acting," Fox once said. Ouch!)
- "Well, that's Megan Fox for you. She says some very ridiculous things because she's 23 years old and she still has a lot of growing to do. Nobody in the world knew about Megan Fox until I found her and put her in Transformers. I like to think that I've had some luck in building actors' careers with my films."
Well said! I'm not the biggest fan of Michael Bay but he's TOTALLY right. Megan Fox was in that Lindsay Lohan movie Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen back in '04 and nobody cared!

no one really knew who Megan Fox was and everyone knew who Lindsay Lohan was (confessions of a teenage dramma queen)....and now Lindsay has no career, she´s over and basically Megan is huge right now, making millions...and yes, megan fox needs to take challenging roles and keep her mouth shut.
Well if that's what her FRIENDS think - then I would hate to hear from the director(s) who didn't like her non-original look and her burnt out brian!
Maybe Mr. Bay should cast Octomom in her place - they both look alike - but Octomom is a much better actress!
Everyone knows girls like Ms. Fox are a dime-a-dozen in Hollywood. Some country bumpkin blows into town from some backwater, is "discovered", put in a few flicks as a bit of tail, then passed around town like a joint at a greatful dead concert. Then, low and behold, another one appears on the scene and so on and so on...
I disagree. I think Megan was spot on: all she did was stand and look (really really) pretty, and she had the guts to call it like it was. The movie was all special effects. ALLLLL special effects....
Seriously, Transformers 1&2 are manure, and Michael Bay should be directing commercials. I quote David Denby in the New Yorker: "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, directed by the stunningly, almost viciously, untalented Michael Bay..."

I have to say I love how honest Megan Fox is. Maybe she shouldn't say the movie isn't about acting but---it's the truth, isn't it? She reminds me of Angelina Jolie back in the day when she would say basically what was on her mind. Now Angie is way more private and Megan will be like that too one day when she becomes really jaded by Hollywood.
I've seen her on a few talk shows, and I'm not real impressed with her at all. I think all the hype tabloids have been making about her, has gone to her head. It's obvious she's young and has a lot to learn. Very self centered and silly.
Yeah, don't use her again. Take her advice and fine someone where it is about the acting to cast next time. Ungrateful wench.

Comparing Megan and Isabel is all apples and oranges. Megan is body hawt and Isabel is body-mind hawt. Isabel does have the better voice though. Don't care much for Megan's high wispy voice.
Whoever wrote the second script for Transformers, reminds me of King Kong, many parts could have been taken out and it would have been a better movie.
