REPORT: Michael Bay Says Steven Spielberg Fired Megan Fox From Transformers

It was producer Steven Spielberg who demanded that Megan Fox be fired from the latest Transformers movie, says The Daily Mail.
Rumor was that Fox, 25, was fired after comparing director Michael Bay to Adolf Hitler in a 2009 interview. She appeared in the first two films, but has now been replaced by Rosie Huntington-Whiteley for Transformers: Dark of The Moon, which opens June 29.
But The Daily Mail reports that, according to Bay, it wasn't him, but Spielberg, that demanded she be let go. He says: "You know, the Hitler thing. Steven (Spielberg) said, 'Fire her right now.'" Spielberg is Jewish.
At the time, Fox said she left the series to pursue other acting opportunities. Since, she has appeared in flops Jennifer's Body and Jonah Hex.
After Fox made the Hitler comments, crew members from the series released an open, anonymous letter blasting her. Read what they said after the jump.
The letter compared Fox's acting abilities to those of a porn star. It said:
- "Michael found this shy, inexperienced girl, plucked her out of total obscurity thus giving her the biggest shot of any young actresses' life. ... He told everyone around to just trust him on his choice. He granted her the starring role in Transformers, a franchise that forever changed her life; she became one of the most googled and oogled women on earth. ... She was famous! She was the next Angelina Jolie, hooray! Wait a minute, two of us worked with Angelina – second thought – she's no Angelina. You see, Angelina is a professional. ... We know this quite intimately because we've had the tedious experience of working with the dumb-as-a-rock Megan Fox on both Transformers movies."

Spielberg is a self centered jerk. What happened to free speech...oops this is liberal hollywood. But when the shoe is on the other foot it is not okay. People who spend their hard earned $$ to go see movies are just supplying the money hungry jerks a free paycheck. And they talk about how wall street rips people off. Have you seen any quality movies come out of hollywood of late?? I refuse to make people wealthy off the backs of working people who work hard for their money.
