Transformers Off To A Huge Start With $16 Million Midnight Opening

Despite mediocre reviews, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen took home an estimated $16 million in midnight screenings earlier today, according to The Hollywood Reporter. This makes it the highest grossing Wednesday midnight release ever, and third-largest midnight opening in film history, just behind Star Wars - Episode III: Revenge of the Sith ($16.5 million) and The Dark Knight ($18.5 million). How much do you think it will earn this weekend? We're thinking somewhere around $75 million, at least!
Will you head to theaters to watch Megan, Shia and Josh battle the evil robots? Or is this one you're going to pass on?

He's got a huge head, small body and is inarticulate and uneducated. Love Shia's eyes tho, very expressive. The rest? Teeny bopper material.
Ok, I have a secret; I'm a closet 16 year old boy. I love to see big Robots make things blow up. I could care less about the rest of the cast, gimme some TRANSFORMERS. Some of the GM cars look lame, but hopefully their 'powers' will outweigh their lame look. The Stingray looks like it's going to be awesome. I'm in love with bumblebee lol.
WE JUST SAW THE MOVIE. IT IS AWSOME!!!! 2.5 HRS OF ROBOTS KICKING ASS!!!
