Mel Gibson Calls His Life A "Three-Ring Circus"

Mel Gibson has opened up about his crazy life to Variety. Until now, he had only done one interview since his drama surfaced with ex Oksana Grigorieva.
The actor is currently at Cannes where he has been busy posing shirtless and smoking, but hadn't done any interviews for his film The Beaver, directed by Jodie Foster.
The film reportedly got a standing ovation at Cannes; Gibson's performance has been well-received by critics. “They [the audience] seemed to appreciate and like it," he said. "You could hear people sniffling, so I think they were affected by it.”
Gibson subtly related the film to his own life, saying:
- “It’s about the length that someone will go to to survive. We all go through things that are hard to bear at some point or other, and we have to get through it.”
As for commenting solely on his personal life, Gibson said:
- “About life, oh boy. You don’t want to hear about my three-ring circus.”
Well, he got that right.
He also spoke about his break from acting, which lasted from about 2003 to 2010.
- “I got to a place where I thought, ‘I don’t know even know if I want to do this,’ and walked away for a while, and when enough time has elapsed and you’ve gone through some sort of metamorphosis for yourself … when you come back to it it’s kind of interesting again.”
The actor didn't comment on future projects, but did say he wants to get back into directing.
- “I love it. That’s my favorite job. … I’m writing a few things.”

THE REASON WHY HE DO NOT WANT TO TALK OF HIS PRIVATRE LIFE IS BECAUSE HE DONT WANT TO VOERSHADOW THE MOVIE AND JODIE FOSTERS WORK AS ACTOR AND DIRECTOR IN THAT MOVIE WITH GOSSIP STORIES WHO HAVDE BEEN GOING ON FOR EVER ANYWAY. ITS TIME FO RREPORTERS TO GET OVER IT OR TO DO SOME RELA RESEARCH NSTEAD OF ASKING HIM FOR NASWERS WHO ARE ALREADY TO BE FOUND ON THE INTERNET!!
AND NOT TO FORGET THE FACT THAT HE HAD A CASE GOING ON WHIHC MAKE TLAKING BAOUT IT ILLEGAL AS WELL AS A LAWSUITE HE WILL START SOON AFTER THIS BEAVER PROMOTION IS OVER.
