Mel Gibson is soaking in the sun while promoting his latest film, The Beaver, at the Cannes Film Festival.
The shirtless star had no problem flaunting his not-so-fit stomach while hanging with a pal on the balcony of the Eden Roc Hotel in Cap d'Antibes.
So many questions surrounding these photos. Why are your pants unbuttoned, Mel ... and what are you and your shirtless friend doing up there?
Mel skipped the press conference for The Beaver, but director Jodie Foster says Gibson will be at tonight's premiere. Read what she had to say ... after the jump.
Foster told the press:
