Michael Bay, Cinematic Mentor
With all the stories you hear about how predatory an environment Hollywood can be, it's refreshing to see a director as celebrated as Michael Bay taking a young filmmaker under his wing - even if he's not necessarily the same type of filmmaker! The Transformers director's eye was caught by a fifteen-year-old paparazzi (don't you have school tomorrow, young man?) as he made his way out of Mr. Chow's last night. And you can color Michael impressed with the kid's work - he practically even forced the kid into taking a picture with him!
How's that for turning the tables - after all, usually it's the paps pleading for a picture with the billion-dollar celebrity, not the other way around!
