The star of Dexter was swarmed by photogs after leaving Kings Road Cafe in West Hollywood this morning following his divorce announcement from wife slash co-star Jennifer Carpenter. Michael C. Hall kept quiet when the paps asked questions about the sudden split - everyone in Hollywood is breaking up today!

Dexter co-stars Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter are splitting after less than two years of marriage, and their reps confirm to EW, “Having been separated for some time, Jennifer Carpenter and Michael C. Hall have filed for divorce.”

Both reps add that the split was amicable, but we're so bummed about this! The duo met on the set of their hit Showtime drama, (Carpenter plays Halls's adopted sister in the series) and they got married on December 31, 2008.

I guess holy matrimony was the pits!

Get your butcher knives sharpened ... looks like Dexter is getting even more wicked for Season 5! Michael C. Hall, who has successfully battled his real-life bout with cancer, is back with a vengeance as Showtime's favorite serial killer.

In the trailer, looks like Julie Benz, who was killed off in last season's finale, is back ... even if she is neck deep in blood.

Can't wait to watch the new season when it begins on September 27th!

Last night Michael C. Hall and wife/Dexter co-star Jennifer Carpenter headed to Kendall's Brasserie for dinner, and the duo were in good spirits as they walked back to their car. Not only that, but Michael's hair is finally growing back after his chemo, so things are definitely looking up!

Yesterday we spotted Michael C. Hall at the Chateau Marmont, and our favorite serial killer appeared to be in good spirits as he made his way into the hotel. Just before the Golden Globes this January, Michael confirmed that he was battling Hodgkin's lymphoma, but thankfully he was diagnosed early and his treatment has the cancer in remission.

Can't wait to see him back on the tube this fall!

Dexter star Michael C. Hall has been diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma, he announced today. The 38-year-old actor added that his cancer is a "treatable and curable condition," and thankfully it is in complete remission.

Despite the news, Hall, who is nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Actor will be attending the ceremony this Sunday with his wife/Dexter co-star Jennifer Carpenter.

It's February, it's not THAT warm in Madrid, so really, there's no excuse for the pit sweat on Dexter's Jennifer Carpenter's top.

Hey honey, when you're dating an Emmy-nominated actor, you're probably going to get your picture taken! Learn to love it.

The 60th Primetime Emmy Award Nominees that is! And we are thrilled to see some of our favorite shows (and actors and actresses) on the list!

Heidi Klum got her first individual Emmy nomination for Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality-Competition Program (Project Runway), while Christina Applegate got a nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for Samantha Who?, and Steve Carrell snagged a nom for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series for his role as the boss on The Office.

Showtime made their debut in the Best Series category with their drama (an X17 favorite!), Dexter, starring Michael C. Hall (who got nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor), and another Showtime favorite of ours, Weeds, got some recognition, with star Mary-Louise Parker earning a nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.

HBO's miniseries John Adams lead the pack with a whopping total of 23 nominations, including Best Miniseries and Outstanding Lead Actor/Actress for Paul Giamatti and Laura Linney. HBO also took home the most nominations among all the networks, with 85, followed by ABC with 76 and CBS with 51.

For a lesser-known celeb on a struggling Showtime series about a serial killer, former Six Feet Under star Michael C. Hall sure didn't want to take advantage of our questions about the show to promote Dexter! Maybe he was just surprised that our photog actually recognized him underneath that beard!
