In other words, it happens from eating bad pusssy.

There is a 3 shot vaccine out for HPV.

Smoking and alcohol are major contributing factors for throat cancer. Michael did them both.

I don't think he looks all that bad for undergoing cancer treatment. He is pretty old, and he looks better than he did right after his last facelift...hope the tretments work 'cause even if you did it to yourself, dealing with cancer is horrible.

It's nice to see *most* of the comments here pleasant and kind. I've lost loved ones to cancer and have others in remission. It's very scary for anyone in the best of circumstances (by best I mean good insurance, excellent support system etc). I wish him a speedy recovery and a long remission.

Unfortunately, Michael is most likely fighting a losing battle. There is no surgery for throat cancer, other than cutting off his entire head. My grandmother and brother in law both died from this. Not even chemo can save someone in stage 4. I love his acting and I have tremendous sympathy for his wife and children, but this type of cancer is relentless.

Michael Douglas’ stage 4 diagnosis and the bleak prognosis is sad. His optimism is admirable. I wish him well.

HBO is airing Douglas' Fatal Attraction. I'm going to watch it. Tomorrow I will watch one of my all time favorite Douglas films, The Ghost and the Darkness.

I had throat cancer in 2001 ,throat cancer comes from smoking and the use of tobacco products ,not from oral sex ,whom ever thinks this is badly mistaken,doctors say its not true . Helen

I think it is horrible to suggest Michael did this to himself, cancer can come for so many reason some of which may have nothing to do with lifestyle. You all should be ashamed to talk so rudely of an ill man. I pray for him and his family to cope and recover.
