It must suck for them to have such a loser in the family

So sad. I feel bad for them. The guy should've known better. It's a terrible thing to happen.

You have to wonder why? I'm sure he was financially looked after. Maybe his dad cut him off because he was using and then he did this to support his habit. He doesn't look all methed out though. Who knows? What an idiot. What an honest response from the family, at least they aren't molly coddling him.

Michael Douglas is devastated because Cameron was CAUGHT and is an embarrassment to the entire Douglas family.

So many rich, bored and spoiled Hollywood offspring have wasted a privileged life and cry out for attention. Farrah & Ryan's son and so many others have chosen to throw their lives away. He will have to now pay for his stupidity.

I have absolutely NO sympathy whatsover for Cameron OR any of the Douglas family. Surely a few relatives knew he was selling and/or abusing drugs before he was arrested. This should not have come as any big surprise to any of them. Embarrassing? Yeah. Appalling? Yeah. Horrific? Yeah. But not anything new and spectacular...

10 years to life? He should be happy he got caught in America and not in Iran or China.

Cameron takes after his uncle and if he keeps on doing what he's doing he'll end up like him.

I wonder if the family cooperated with authorities in a last-ditch attempt to keep Cameron alive?

He won't do ANY time and everyone knows. He's get sent to a "treatment facility" instead and maybe his daddy will pay a big fine.
Why should he go to prison when Dante Stallworth KILLED someone and got 30 days?

He should be devastated. It was his poor parenting skills that got them into this mess.

I don't think it was poor parenting skills. It happens to the richest and the poorest. I feel sadness for the parents.

I feel for both mother and father...It is not their fault....It is the friends he picks. What mentality is used to bring drugs into the courtroom where your boyfriend's case is being heard. PLEASE!!!

It is his fault, not his parent's, nor their money or fame, or Hollywood, it was his choice and now his fault. Too many people want to make excuses for him, let him take the full ride for this, just as he would have benefited from the money earned had he not gotten caught.

Michael & Diandra Douglas are not to blame, and anyone who points fingers at them, is just stupid and uninformed. I have a wonderful husband who has had to fight his demons with drug abuse, and has 2 loving children and a wonderful family who gave him and still do love and support, but once you get addicted it's a nightmare getting off of the drugs,they take over even the most smartest and respected of ppl, it touches all rich, middle class, poor. So give the Douglas's a break. Hopefully Cameron won't get prison time, because he'll never get straight, with all the drugs in jail, it's worse then the streets. Good Luck to all

I agree with the last comment. I've had drug abuse in my family caused by extremely painful surgery. Hydrocodone took my newphews life accidentally. Some who have an addictive gene are vulnerable to drugs. It's so easy to judge the rich or the poor when you have not lived their life.

How sad for the family. I know what they are going through first hand. My brother was a herion addict for twenty years and came to the end as all herion addicts do if they continue to use. My parents were not to blame for his addiction. The only child out of seven that went the way of drugs.

When a loved one is an addict that is devestating. Prison 10 years to life, that is scary. They need much prayer. call 1 800 JESUS. He is always available.
