BREAKING NEWS - Katherine Jackson To Get Custody Of Michael's Children

Katherine Jackson, 79, and Debbie Rowe, the biological mother of two of Michael Jackson's children, have reached a custody agreement, giving the Jackson matriarch sole custody of kids, as was revealed today in an interview on CBS' Early Show.
Rowe WILL have visitation rights but will not et any money in the deal, which some earlier reports had suspected she would angle for.
Katherine Jackson's attorney L. Londell McMillan told a CBS reporter:
- "It's an agreement, an agreement for the best interests of the children. This is not a money deal. This is not about money. ... There is no situation better for these children than for them to be raised and reared in the loving care of Mrs. Katherine Jackson."

McMillan: "I don't think it's valid at all. I think Joe Jackson is the husband of Mrs. Jackson, but he's not living in Los Angeles."

How much does Katherine get?:
She'll get 40% of her son's estate and Jackson's long-time business partners, John McClain and John Branca, will manage all matters of the estate.
How much is Jackson's estate worth?
McMillan estimates it could be worth as much as $2 billion. The CBS reporter noted: "If the estate achieves its potential earnings, and that's if the estate is managed effectively. Clearly, Michael Jackson in death could be even more of an industry than he was during his lifetime."

i feel so sorry for these kids. sequestered away from the world in a secretive household where who knows what goes on. like Grandma is gonna raise them?? Since they are old enough, I hope the kids are involved with the decision about seeing Debbie. They shouldn't be forced to see someone they haven't seen since they were one or two years old. I really don't understand why Debbie even wants visitation. She didn't want anything to do with them before Michael died. I do think eventually she will angle for money. I also think Janet and Rebbie will help Katherine with the kids.

I cant see for the life of me why some people are so critcal of michael jacksons children or what is to be their fate. they are not the children of the typical american. their father was not typical, they are the children of western fame and hero worship. their father was hands down the most famous man on the planet. in life and even in death it seems he couldnt find even a second of the anonimenity that you and i enjoy except in the confines of his home. he veiled his children to hid them from the crazies that do exist in our world. his children economically live in a world that most of us can only wish to have. they are not tragic, they are not pitiful, they are simply children of money wealth and power. it is wrong to think that they will be neglected by their grandmother when most of you dont even know ms. katherin, she raised nine children. debbie rowe she has never been a mother but a serogate she made that clear from the beginning, yet every one clamering about debbie rowe. those who really love the man will honor and respect his memory and enjoy the legacy that he left behind. we would respect the privacy of his children, his mother and yes his father none of them are public figures(how much is the press paying mikes children or his mother for all the attention). it doesnt matter who gets 40% of his legacy or who fights over what, the jacksons are an american family like all american families let them deal with their family issues and leave them alone. mike will be missed and loved, an element of the world died with him. the king of pop is dead, long live the king!
