X17 EXCLUSIVE - Katherine Jackson And Michael's Children Are Being Used As Pawns To Validate Fraudulent Will, Family Source Claims

Aug 2, 2012 12:45 PM

Katherine Jackson, as well as Paris, Prince and Blanket Jackson, are being used as "pawns" to cover up the fact that Michael Jackson's will is fraudulent, according to a Jackson family source.

Contrary to various online reports, Katherine's children stress they are not after the money in Michael's estate.

Our source adds:

"Everyone knows that even if Michael didn't have a will written up, his children would be given the money from the estate by default. His siblings obviously aren't after his fortune because they were never set to earn it in the first place. It's about revealing the truth and who's behind the fake document."

Family members believe the temporary guardianship situation was created by the estate executors as a diversion from the investigation into the validity of the will. This morning, Katherine was reinstated as guardian of Michael's three children with her grandson TJ serving as co-guardian until the next court hearing on August 22.

The source goes on to say:

"Interesting how only those children who are removing their name from the letter, like Jermaine recently did, are being allowed to see their mother. The rest have been banned from seeing her or even speaking to her on the phone."

The letter that's being referred to is the one sent from Michael's siblings to John Branca and John McClain ... asking them to resign as co-executors of the King of Pop's estate because they've "failed to perform" their duties.

We've reached out to both Branca and McClain for comment, but have yet to hear back.

Katherine Jackson's attorney, Perry Sanders Jr., tells X17online exclusively, "We're trying to hammer out the details this week to protect Mrs. Jackson and the children."

Sanders adds that he won't be returning to court until the scheduled court date of August 22, but in the meantime, "We're dotting all our i's and crossing our t's."

When Katherine Jackson requested that he meet with she and nephew TJ at her house, the attorney tells us, "I didn't know what to expect."

TJ Jackson, Tito Jackson's 34-year-old son, was granted temporary guardianship over Michael's three children ... Paris, Prince and Blanket. Since Michael's death in 2009, his 82-year-old mother has been in charge of the kids.

Sanders recalls the moment Prince Jackson, 15, walked into the room where TJ and Mrs. Jackson were discussing their guardianship plans. Sanders, who witnessed the two cousins interacting, tells X17online:

"There's a close bond there and a definite sense of unity. Contrary to what people think, there was absolutely zero animosity between those two. I felt nothing but love in the room."

Sanders, who says he met with Prince, Paris and TJ last Friday, adds, "Anybody saying something to the contrary obviously isn't in the know."

X17 EXCLUSIVE DETAILS - Jackson Estate Attorney Writes Letter Naming Family Members Banned From Home, Katherine Jackson In Tears

Jul 29, 2012 09:00 PM

jacksoncourt010411_02_X17-230.jpgJanet, Randy, Rebbie and Jermaine Jackson have been barred from entering Katherine's Calabasas home, according to a letter allegedly written by Michael Jackson Estate lawyer, Howard Weitzman.

Weitzman, who represents co-executors John Branca and John McClain, reportedly sent the letter to Charles Schultz, TJ Jackson's attorney. The letter states:

“Given the circumstances of the last two weeks, and in order to protect the children and Mrs. Jackson, the Executors believe that it would not be appropriate to allow the following individuals to enter the residence or its grounds and we instruct the security to preclude the following from entering the residence or the grounds: Randy Jackson and any of his children, Janet Jackson, Rebbie Jackson and any of her children, Jermaine Jackson, his wife and any of his children, Janice Smith, or anyone else who was involved in the recent events that led to Mrs. Jackson’s separation from and inability to communicate with Michael’s children, or any agents or representatives of any of these individuals.

There will be no other security or drivers allowed on the property except those employed by the Estate of Michael Jackson. Joe Jackson is precluded from entering the property. Howard Mann who is in litigation against the Estate and is working with the Jackson siblings that wrote the “letter” should also not be allowed on the premises."

As for the "letter" being referenced ... it's the one sent to Branca and McClain by Janet, Jermaine, Randy, Rebbie and Tito Jackson ... asking that both men resign as executors of their brother's estate. In the letter, it claims the 2002 will is fraudulent.

Weitzman's alleged letter goes on to say:

“Of course, Paris, Prince and Blanket, T.J. and his brothers, Tito, Marlon, Jackie and their spouses, current security (hired by the Estate), staff (per T.J.), Meg Lodise, Michael Kane, Sandra Ribera, Parry Sanders, Trent Jackson, you (Charles Shultz) and anyone else authorized by T.J. (other than the Excluded Individuals listed above), may enter and remain on the premises.

It is imperative to the Estate that from this point forward a safe and appropriate environment be provided for Michael Jackson’s children and his mother as well."

A Jackson family source tells X17online exclusively:

"What kind of lawyer would deny a mother from seeing her own children. Katherine cried the first two days she came home. She told her assistant, 'They're taking everything from me.' They're denying her from hearing the truth. They're denying her family access to see her and trying to get her in court as fast as possible."

On Friday, a judge appointed TJ Jackson, Katherine's 34-year-old nephew, as guardian of Michael's three children.

Katherine's attorney, Perry Sanders Jr., clarified to X17online, that Katherine will still remain in control of the estate's finances, as well as the day-to-day activities of Paris, Prince and Blanket.

We've reached out to Howard Weitzman for comment, but he has yet to respond.

Gladys Knight Slams Paris Jackson On The Talk

Jul 27, 2012 03:00 PM

Gladys Knight has a message for Michael Jackson's 14-year-old daughter Paris Jackson ... respect your elders!

The legendary singer, who appeared on CBS' The Talk, voiced her thoughts on the Jackson situation. When asked about Monday's alleged confrontation between Janet Jackson and her niece Paris, sounds like Gladys has Janet's back.

Ms. Knight said the following:

“See, I’m from the South and [I] was raised in that southern way. You have to understand Paris is what, 14? How old is Janet? Who’s the one who tries to direct the other one here? And I would think that it’s a good thing she let’s Paris know who she is.”

As for how she'd deal with Paris' reported attitude, Knight adds, "[Paris Jackson] wouldn’t have any teeth."

X17 EXCLUSIVE - Randy Jackson: John Branca, John McClain And Howard Weitzman "Are Trying To Take My Mother's Life"

Jul 27, 2012 11:35 AM

jacksonfam100311_01_460WM.jpg

Randy Jackson has just issued the below statement to X17online:

When TJ asked my mother if he should ask for temporary guardianship, my Mother told TJ NO – twice.

    - The Estate denied Rebbie, Janet and Jermaine access to the house when they returned to home to Calabasas with a letter written by Howard Weitzman, attorney for the Estate, who is not a resident of the home.

    - The Estate is trying to isolate my Mother from her family JUST LIKE THEY DID TO MICHAEL, in order to propagate their lies, financial agendas and to protect a fraudulent will.

    - The same people that are trying to manipulate my mother are the same people that were involved with my brother when he died.

    - In order to obtain temporary guardianship, TJ lied to the court. Rebbie, Janet, Jermaine and I would never harm our mother and we are doing our best to protect her and the Estate knows that. I want to know why Perry Sanders would consider a negotiation based on lies.

    - It is clear that anyone who stands up against the Executors of the Estate - John Branca, John McClain and their attorney Howard Weitzman - is denied access to my mother.

    - It is my fear and belief, that they are trying to take my mother’s life.

John Branca, John McClain and Howard Weitzman have yet to issue a statement. Calls for comment have not been returned.

X17 EXCLUSIVE - Katherine Jackson's Attorney Says Guardianship Agreement Has Been Reached In Regards To Michael's Three Children

Jul 27, 2012 09:10 AM

kjackson121110_01_X17WMpic.jpg

X17 can exclusively report that Katherine Jackson and nephew TJ have come to a guardianship agreement in regarding to Paris, Prince and Blanket Jackson.

Perry Sanders Jr., Katherine's attorney, released the following statement to the media:

"That pleading will essentially now legally reflect how Mrs. Jackson and TJ have often shared responsibilities of raising the children since Michael Jackson's tragic passing. It will also make clear for school personnel and anyone else coming into contact with the children that TJ is authorized to act on their behalf. Mrs. Jackson will then be freed up to focus on the more personal everyday decision making related to the lives and activities of the children."

Sanders adds:

"Mrs. Jackson is extremely pleased with the prospect of enjoying the pleasure of raising Michael's children without the day to day tedium of items such as managing the large staff that goes with such a high profile family and focus her attention on being a grandmother and raising Michael's children."

UPDATE: 10:00 AM X17 just spoke on the phone with Perry Sanders Jr. who confirmed that TJ Jackson and Katherine Jackson agreed to share guardianship duties. Sanders clarifies that he is currently in Colorado Springs, but the agreement was reached last night. Sanders says, this morning, TJ's attorney filed the papers in the LA courthouse.

Despite sharing responsibilities with TJ, Perry continues:

"Katherine will continue handling the money situation and the daily decisions involving the children. This new agreement doesn't take away any authority from Mrs. Jackson. It just takes some of the load off of her. She wants to enjoy the non-stressful parts of family life. This will take the day-to-day stressers off her back.

My client is thrilled with the solution we've agreed upon. My goal is, and always has been, to not make the children look bad."

X17 EXCLUSIVE - Katherine Jackson's Attorney Denied Access Into Home By Nephew TJ, Family Worried For Her Safety

Jul 26, 2012 05:35 PM

jacksoncourt010411_02_X17-460new.jpg

Perry Sanders Jr. is ready to have Katherine Jackson sign paperwork to be reinstated as guardian of Michael's three children ... Paris, Prince and Blanket, however we've learned exclusively that TJ Jackson has instructed security to not allow him into Katherine's Calababas home.

Our Jackson family source tells X17online exclusively:

"TJ won't allow Perry to do his job and won't allow his grandmother to speak to any of her children. Trent and the security team, who Katherine fired already, are refusing to leave the premises. They also won't answer the phone at the house. Family members are worried sick about Katherine's safety. Once again, they are using trickery. "

Just yesterday, Tito Jackson's 34-year-old son was granted temporary guardianship. However, as X17 first reported, Katherine's attorney Perry Sanders Jr. is ready to file paperwork "asap."

We told you first that Katherine fired Trent and the entire security team before leaving her vacation spot in Arizona to come home. Our family source, who heard the phone conversation, says Katherine directly told Trent, "You better be gone by the time I return home." Trent replied with the following: "We don't work for you, we work for the estate. We're not leaving."

The Jacksons tell us they believe family advisor John Branca was behind the confrontation on Monday at the Jackson estate between Janet, Randy, Jermaine, Paris, Prince, Trent and the security team.

Following Monday night's altercation at the Jackson compound in Calabasas, Branca and the estate's co-executor John McClain, released the following statement:

"We are concerned that we do what we can to protect them from undue influences, bullying, greed, and other unfortunate circumstances. While we do not have standing to directly intervene, we have monitored the situation and will continue to do so. We believe measures are being put in place that will help protect them from what they are having to deal with."

Family members tell us they believe Branca "is trying to paint a picture that under Katherine's supervision, the kids aren't being cared for" and that "TJ is being coached" by Branca.

UPDATE: 6:30 PM PST - The Jackson family has confirmed to us that Katherine is safe at this moment, despite TJ blocking her attorney from entering the home.

UPDATE: 9:40 PM PST - Perry Sanders Jr., Mrs. Jackson's attorney, was eventually allowed into the home to speak with Katherine. Sanders tells X17: "I had a long and productive meeting today with Mrs. Jackson. I am pleased to report that she is fine and she laughed at the widely publicized report that she had suffered a stroke. I will be releasing a formal statement tomorrow morning regarding the results of the meeting."
