X17 EXCLUSIVE - Paris Jackson Transferred To L.A. Children's Hospital

Paris Jackson was transferred to Children's Hospital Los Angeles for continued treatment after her Wednesday morning suicide attempt.

The hospital houses one of the nation's finest youth treatment centers in their Division of Adolescent Medicine's Behavioral Heath Program. They provide clinical services and behavioral/psychoeducational assessments and have staff specializing in adolescent mental health to provide:

"... individual, family, collateral and group counseling, crisis intervention and case management support. Clinical areas of focus include depression, suicidal thoughts, anxiety and psychosomatic disorders, eating disorders, child abuse and neglect, exposure to violence, family issues and conflicts, school failure, drug abuse and co-occurring disorders, and gender-identity issues."

Various reports have pointed to a host of possible reasons for Paris' breakdown -- and certainly all of these issues must have led to the stress and depression that fueled the 15-year-old's wrist-slashing and over-medication.

Factors fueling Paris Jackson's fragile emotional and mental state:
    • having to testify in her family's lawsuit against AEG
    • learning AEG reportedly had proof Michael Jackson wasn't Paris' biological father
    • Prince Michael's anger over Paris spending time with mom Debbie Rowe
    • backlash on social media after recent accusations of child molestation against Michael
    • reported bullying at school

Paris has been on a 5150 psychiatric hold since her admission to West Hills Medical Center early Wednesday morning. She could be released as early as tomorrow morning or she may choose to continue treatment at the Children's Hospital. That would have to come from her, though ... the mandatory hold would expire tomorrow ...

Paris Jackson was taken to the hospital around 2am on Wednesday morning after an apparent suicide attempt, according to TMZ.

Michael Jackson's oldest daughter was wheeled out of the family's Calabasas home in the gated community of the Oaks on a stretcher, and the 911 caller reportedly stated that Paris had cut her wrists.

Shortly before the incident Paris tweeted, "I wonder why tears are salty?" ... and later the lyrics to the Beatles' song Yesterday, "yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away now it looks as though they're here to stay."

A source on the scene tells X17online that all of the Jackson family's cars are currently at the compound. No word on whether she's been released, but TMZ reports that the 16-year-old is "doing ok."

UPDATE:
We're still waiting to hear back from Paris' rep, but a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department released the following statement to X17online:

"This morning at about 1:27am deputies responded to a medical situation at Prado De La Felicidad in Calabasas. Medical treatment was provided to a patient who was then taken to a local hospital."

As you know, Katherine Jackson moved in to a 2-acre estate on Prado De La Felicidad around early 2011 with MJ's three children, Paris, Prince and Blanket.

Michael Jackson Accused Of Molesting Choreographer Wade Robson

May 8, 2013 07:21 AM

michael-jackson-molest-230.jpgMichael Jackson has been been posthumously accused of molesting choreographer Wade Robson, who was worked with stars like Usher, 'N Sync and Britney Spears (and reportedly caused her split with Justin Timberlake).

Robson testified during Jackson's 2005 molestation trial but denied that the singer had ever molested him. However, TMZ reports that a member of Jackson's staff testified that she saw the King of Pop in the shower with Robson when he was just 8 or 9 years old.

According to legal documents, Robson is now asking for money from the Michael Jackson Estate for "childhood sexual abuse." Robson reportedly met Jackson when he was 5, and he had a handful of sleepovers at Jackson's Neverland Ranch, which allegedly continued until he was 14.

In 2003, Robson choreographed a "Tribute to Michael Jackson" on his MTV show, The Wade Robson Project, and after the singer passed away in 2009, he said in a statement that he "has been a close friend of mine for 20 years. His music, his movement, his personal words of inspiration and encouragement and his unconditional love will live inside of me forever. I will miss him immeasurably, but I know that he is now at peace and enchanting the heavens with a melody and a moonwalk."

Wonder why he's just now coming out with the allegations?

Michael Jackson's Family Goes Up Against AEG Live In Wrongful Death Suit

Apr 2, 2013 10:46 AM

michael-jackson-trial-230.jpgMichael Jackson's wrongful death trial kicks off today, and his mother Katherine (along with his three children, Paris, Prince and Blanket) are seeking $40 billion in damages from AEG Live.

The Jacksons claim the company negligently hired and supervised Dr. Conrad Murray, who they blame for the king of pop's lethal Propofol overdose. The Jacksons plan to argue that AEG Live had a responsibility to monitor Murray, but there is quite a bit of evidence indicating that the pop star had a problem with drugs long before Murray came along. TMZ reports that Jackson had at least 19 aliases to get prescription drugs from different doctors, and he would even shop around for medical professionals who would administer Propofol.

"I don’t know how you can’t look to Mr. Jackson’s responsibility there," AEG lawyer Marvin Putnam said. “He was a grown man.” Putnam was interviewed for the CNN documentary Michael Jackson: The Final Days, which premieres at 10pm Friday. "Mr. Jackson is a person who was known to doctor shop,” Putnam added. “He was known to be someone who would tell one doctor one thing and another doctor something else."

Katherine Jackson Files Court Papers Asking Judge To Grant Her Grandson $9K A Month For Child Support

Mar 13, 2013 09:00 AM

katherine-jackson-court.jpgKatherine Jackson filed court papers asking for her grandson TJ to be paid $9,000 per month from the Michael Jackson Estate to look after the late pop star's three children.

Katherine and TJ serve as the guardians of Prince Michael, 16, Paris, 15, and Blanket, 11, and according to the documents, Katherine claims TJ initially rejected the figure, instead settling for a salary comparable to what the kids' nanny makes.

Katherine noted in the papers that TJ spends around 300 hours per week with the kids, taking them to appointments and activities including karate and guitar lessons, helping them with homework and attending school functions.

TJ was appointed as co-guardian earlier this year after the family grew concerned about 82-year-old Katherine's stability. A judge has yet to rule on the case.
